Would of been a great video had he not only tested one range, close enough for max damage, but far enough out to activate bloom... He should of tested at half that range, and a quarter that range, I'm betting bloom wouldn't activate then... All he did was show us what we know is there, bloom... Bloom is there to make us understand, you are not going to land every shot past X feet...

I'm sure Bungie has seen this multiple times. But, do they care enough to fix the issues and find a reasonable balance for HC without using a system like this? Prob not.

Those ghost bullets are ridiculous, happens to me very often, im 100% sure im hitting the guys in the head, and i have to shoot 4-5 times to actually register some damage while moving, etc... i understand if you wanna add some ghost bullets in TWL or even other hand cannons while shooting from the hip because it would make sense, but if you are ADS (Aiming Down Sights), that shouldn't happen imo. It's ridiculous... while you are trying to get some dmg registered, the other people is melting you with a pulse rifle/auto rifle. Btw, the Thorn is still a 3 headshot kill right? seems like.

I feel it's working as intended. If you want to snipe, use a scout rifle.

This is a touchy subject and arguments can be made both ways... I'm sure some Bungie devs are looking at the stats and seeing that hc kills are generally balanced with other primary archetypes. That's the whole point of the RNG accuracy system, to keep hc's in check. If it was removed hc's would dominate again. This whole ghost bullet thing is based on balance. But, I don't understand why Bungie can't figure out how to balance this game without ruining the experience. My issue with RNG determining wether my shots are hitting is that my skill no longer determines the outcome of gun fights. So this RNG accuracy imo is a bs system and I don't like it.

The problem is with these replies is that people are commenting that don't play competitively and don't care. We don't want your opinion, this is a massive issue and thank God people on reddit are taking this seriously, MLG will never take destiny seriously if this stays in and for this to come out literally a week before the first destiny mlg event is embarrassing to say the least. If you think that your casual no care attitude opinion is needed go find a raid thread to argue on because me and many others have called off sweats for now because in a 1v1 engagement an invisible dice deciding your headshot accuracy SHOULD NOT help in a 1v1 if you're hitting your head shots, this was implemented in halo reach shorty after release and was taken out due to competitive play. People play sweats, people play in major league gaming from now on in this game, please don't defend and RNG accuracy system that could be the difference to winning a tournament or going flawless

11 AntwortenIsn't this realistic? He tested this right on the fringe of intended range for a hand cannon. The further you are outside the intened range the less accurate your shot is. In real life if you aim a pistol at something that's at a sniper range, even if your shot is perfectly aimed at the target, it won't hit. Same concept here. Thats why one shot it the wall, one hit the head, and one it the body. He aimed perfectly, but was outside of range, so the shots were traveling slightly off center. This is why scouts were so week in year 1, because hand cannons were 100% accurate no matter what range.

Sure, there are games where gritty realism makes it enjoyable (War Thunder), but Destiny isn't one of those games. Destiny is a game where you defeat an anchient time-bending robot, a godlike death knight, and a godly being who can take the will of those beneath him; it was never meant to be realistic. If you are to mature and mighty to settle for anything less than realism, then you can leave us plebians and go play something else.
