Ambush or Longview?
Just got a LDR Longview/ambush; snapshot/smallbrone/quickdraw; eye of the storm, and unflinching.
My friend says that I should use ambush, the only down side to it is the aim assist, reduced by 25. I'm thinking Longview, although it does not have the handling or the stability, it makes up on aim assist
So what do I guys think?

If you're not consistent enough to get the reticle near someone's head, the aim assist difference between ambush and the SLR10 isn't going to be make or break with getting head shots. Longview will just make it slightly easier to drag scope consistently.

If you're bad, Longview, if you're good ambush. Ambush decreases aim assist but the handling is lightning quick. Longview poor handling but great aim assist

I love Ambush. It took me a while to get used to it, but just go into patrol and snipe a few enemies and you're good.

I commented ealier, but I would like to share my longview SLR10 story. I got lucky and got the longbow on my warlock (longview/army of one/quickdraw/hidden hand). I was happy, but pretty disappointed at the scopes at first. I've always preferred shortgaze. I already had a pretty good longbow that had shorgaze/snapshot. The roll was so good I decided to start using it for awhile and It actually turns out I now prefer longview over shorgaze. I recommend you try it out. Ambush is good, but if you already have quickdraw, I feel the negatives outweigh the positives.

1 AntwortenI personally prefer Ambush, I find the high aim assist ruins my aiming more than it helps. Give both a go, but make sure you understand and adapt to the differences.

2 AntwortenIf a sniper has no Shortgaze it's auto-dismantle for me. In your case I would go with Longview.

1 AntwortenCan't dragscope with ambush consistently, but imo it feels better. Ambush also recoils downwards so you can body shot easier when under fire. Longview has higher aim assist than shortgaze (or so I've been told) and can dragscope easier. Better for closer ranged engagement. Give both a try and make a decision on your own

longview, I like it better than ambush, make sure it's SLR10 not SLR20 the ten is what you want if it's the twenty use ambush
