So the Battlefeild 1 beta came out today, and despite connection issues, a lot of people seem to really enjoy it. It's great that they like it, but I've got to be honest: I hate it.
I really, really hate it.
There isn't a single part of this game I enjoy. Keep in mind what I'm about to rant about is all my own opinion, but movement feels slow and clunky, shooting feels inconsistent as all hell at anything but close range, they reused the new Battlefront's god damn terrible UI for some -blam!-ing reason, and it's way too easy to die with how long the respawn timers are.
A lot of these problems could probably be solved by not being shit at the game like I am, but the feel of the game is so unappealing to me that I have absolutely 0 desire to improve. It's not like it gives me any learning opportunities either; most of the time I die was because the enemy took me by surprise. It's always either someone who snuck up behind me and started spraying bullets into my back, a sniper I couldn't see until they shot me, or a tank that turned the corner and blew me to pieces. The one thing I did figure out pretty quickly is that I should stick with teammates more, but that still didn't make my experience any more enjoyable.
Ultimately, Battlefield 1 just makes me wish I was playing Titanfall 2 instead. To me, Titanfall's beta was far more fun in every single way.
Tl;Dr: I don't like how Battlefield 1 feels at all and very much prefer Titanfall 2, however different those games may be. More power to you if you like Battlefield 1, though.

I kinda feel the same, although I think I saw a pattern in how the Lewis gun fired when I tried to use it at range. 'Course the snipers won out there. I think my biggest issues were the tanks (namely the light one) and how the only anti-tank weapons I know of are dynamite and anti-tank grenades. Somebody else mentioned issues with map design and I can kinda agree.

Sounds like you need to....
(suspense)

(more suspense)

try playing the game a little more to get use to the mechanics
2 AntwortenAs a battlefield fan i can tell you the map sucks due to various design choices. Many flags don't provide enough cover, which makes those flags a tanks playground. Then one flag in particular is just so far off from the rest of the map. Getting there by walking is extremely dangerous due to the distance. Gunplay also feels inconsistent.

I like the respectful nature of your post.

Just try to get used to it. I hated BF4 at first but after awhile I learned to love it.

2 AntwortenWell it is ww1 so long range still wasn't a consistent attack range. It is pretty clunky but i think it makes it feel more realistic because you have all that gear on you. The UI is pretty good for me the only mess ups are when I press pause and it freezes but that should be fixed

2 AntwortenYou say this all like you are ashamed.. As though having an opinion were a crime.. At least, that's how it sounded as far as text goes.

You like titan fall...but don't like battlefield.....I have a great suggestion for you.
get titan fall and not battlefield(:
Bearbeitet von II MAAD COW II: 9/2/2016 4:08:08 PMYa battlefield is a lot slower paced. Since this is WWI the guns have short range. Accuracy and all that is low because I mean, WWI. Not everyone likes battlefield but I respect your opinion because you're the first person to rant without saying "it's just battlefront with WWI". I mean I like battlefield and hated titanfall. You're just my opposite

22 AntwortenBearbeitet von Herakles: 9/2/2016 8:21:27 AMWell, no shit. Titanfall is more fast paced compared to Battlefield games. Battlefield games weren't made for the simple-minded.
