a note to all the trials legends this weekend:
hello everyone.
as you may know, this weekend is the last weekend of trials of osiris this month and for probably the next few months.
i understand that you want to get your weekly stomping in, and that you will want to play for the last time in months, too.
do take in to account, however, that many many players still have yet to see the lighthouse at all. still have yet to get their hands on any trials gear.
im not saying "look sweaties, dont play trials this weekend because this weekend is for the virgins". im saying that maybe this weekend isnt the best for elo farming or trying to set the record for longest win streak.
and before you ask, no im not one of the people who will be hitting up every streamer in the destiny directory's chat for a chance to go flawless because i have 17 lighthouse trips to my name. i want the virgins to see mercury this weekend and that is all.

edit: i somewhat knew this was coming.
for those of you saying no and that you will play trials normally if not more competitively this weekend, that is 351.34% fine. im in no position to tell you how to play a video game that you spent money on.
but, im not abandoning thread yet.

3 Antwortenyo anyone who hasnt been flawless HMU on xbox 1, i never really do trials except to help some of my friends get those couple of wins in to get them flawless not to mention i personally dont really care for the light house or the trials weapons this year BUT i will give it my all and we wont stop till you go flawless. No stream, No shout outs just straight ass kicking, I remember when my good friend Baconators Live who has had a player spotlight took me under his wing when i was a far less skilled player and turned me into a beast. I am proud to see theres players out their in crucible who still have a heart for the less skilled, GAME ON

You can't ELO farm unless you're facing stacked teams with a handicapped team. Chances are that'll you will lose. ELO only goes up if you face teams better than you.

Went to the light house year one and it wasn't cool or anything the best part is actually beating tough competition to get there. I feel that it should have the sweeping bot in one of the rooms and he gives you a quest for a new exotic broom/sword lol

4 AntwortenI fully intend to make a mockery of this game mode this week, act like acolytes and teabag in spawn in a circular fashion until we are disturbed then shotgun rush,(meaning you ignore your surroundings until fired upon) Proceeding the next round with running around the map and avoiding engagements. I mean the other team will win sure but they will certainly be confused AF.

I like what your trying to say, but I have not gone flawless in year 2 yet. But I definatally don't want to go flawless because all the PVE scrubs wanted a weekend to themselves. I want to beat all the sweaty and good kids because there not hard to beat. People that CAN'T go flawless don't deserve to go flawless. If I don't do it this weekend then there's always year 3.

6 Antworteni hope they change matchmaking for trials. im a good casual player just like the guys i play with and it seems people in my boat just have no chance at all, bungie have left us behind. unless your elite or have a part time job and no kids then how can a casual possibly sink enough hours practice in ready for the streamers and carriers?

Should have been playing longer because it's really fun , very frustrating but still fun nonetheless. I'm a little light on friends playing destiny atm so if you're down to run trials this weekend just comment with your PSN name and I'll send an invite tonight after work. I never rage and I'll never degrade anyone on my team (win as a team. Lose as a team) just hit me up if interested.

1 AntwortenGreat post, glad to see there are some that still have a heart. I for one know that I will probably never see the lighthouse, I just don't have the skill or time to invest in it. But I do know that there are many who pour untold hours into trying to obtain that cat / scarab, or adept gear, and just fall short, this weekend should be for them...
