Can't get a good high impact sniper
Never got an high impact sniper with shortgaze
Never got an high impact sniper with snapshot
Never got an high impact sniper with quickdraw
Never got an high impact sniper with hidden hand
I never got a good high impact sniper since year two

One of the quests gives you 1000 yard stare with Shortgaze, last resort and firefly. Everyone can get it.

I got a nice Her Fury from challenge of elders with shortgaze, life support, quickdraw, and hidden hand. So if you have 3 characters that's 3 chances a week for a sniper.

Well one sure-fire way to get a good sniper is to get stillpiercer for your hunter. Then you only have to worry about your Titan and warlock

3 AntwortenThere is a Vanguard questline that you get via the default story mode that gives you a great high impact sniper upon completion.....

6 AntwortenThere are more scopes than short gaze. Don't get hung up on that part. The gunsmith is a good way to get one, or buying special weapon engrams from the cryptarc. Enjoy the grind, and just play with whatever you get. Most perks are pretty good.

The quest 1k stare is good, just use that

The quest 1000YS has shortgaze, got one yesterday on an alt. None of the other perks though but it gets stuff done.

Once you have an order for it, you've got 3 chances each week to get a good/God roll. If one doesn't come up that you like, just hold on to the order and check it out the next week. You'd have to grind like crazy to get 3 chances per week with the other snipers. Just make sure eirene has the faucon scope or at least the yepaki. The other scopes are horrible. P.s. Ya it has low aim assistance, but sometimes aim assist can throw you off your target if another enemy passes through and pulls your sights off the target a bit. Don't worry about aim assist and rely on your own skill! Good luck! Hope this helps.

Theres a bunch of other good scopes besides shortgaze. And i have 3 longbows and the i use the least has hidden hand. I just dont like it.

Hidden hand is overrated! I often use my longbow with tacsys15 (or ambush on my other one), grenadier, rifled barrel and spray and play on my hunter with the bladedancer "QuickDraw" ability. Snapshot is nice and I'd gladly take that over hidden hand. These legendary snipers have enough aim assist to be plenty lethal without a little more aim assist added as long as you have the right sensitivity settings. I lower my look when running sniper and raise it way up when running shotty.

Zen Meteor is a beast. The explosive rounds are great. I can sometimes get three kills with 2 shots, also yesterday in control I proc'd dynamite and killed the whole team trying to take B , it was amazing

Hard to get imo I have 2 good ones tho 1000K Stare Longview Triple tap Speed reload/ reinforced Barrel Hidden Hand Longview Synthesis Shortgaze Last resort Snapshot / QuickDraw Hot Swap Not the best but I can't complain (I prefer the Longview)

2 AntwortenI have an Ldr with Longview or short gaze can't remember, last resort, quick draw and hot swap. I could do without hotswap but it works and I can put rounds down range quick as hell.

1 Antwortenkeep your eye out for the eirene RR4 from the gunsmith. (it's an armsday weapon) the one that I got had extremely high impact along with LitC. sadly it doesn't come with short gaze or ambush but still a very good sniper

Yeah the RNG in this game is kind of weird. One would think there'd be some diminishing returns for RNG, where things turned around. Personally I've probably had five 1kys with decent rolls from blue engrams alone, just got another one 5 minutes ago. At the moment I actually have double LDR/1Kys setups on every character. Now, the Luna on the other hand. No dice. Same with Longbow. I havent even seen a Longbow drop, for anyone, in the Crucible and only five Lunas in total.

2 AntwortenHe wants a high impact sniper like LDR, 1000-Yard Stare of Lonbow for pvp. So is hidden hand and quick draw better than firefly and trippletap. Eirine rr4 doesnt have as much aimassist as most other snipers with that impact. And his main char is his warlock with Nova bomb so he cant use stillpiercer and he prefers the shortgaze scope. PS: I am his best friend and I am sorry for you because I have many god roll snipers and he has none :)
