You heard me correctly pvp is completely and utterly pointless in a game like this.

Care to explain? Because the only thing I see a use for it is endgame loot that has a very low chance at dropping at the light higher then u have equipped.

Pvp isn't why I got destiny and I'm not closed minded I play other pvp games (battlefield and black ops) plus the pvp in this game is by far the worst I've seen.

Neither of those games hold any water with me personally. They're your typical shoot and kill games. This game provides a personality with that shooter aspect. I see your hate for this game's PVP as just your lack of success with it. Both of the games you brought are quite easy to pick up and be accustomed to.

Bungie's halo has more personality then destiny does and that's pretty sad because when they split from Microsoft they lost their creativity yea destiny "has" a story but it's not told in game plus destiny wasn't advertised as a pvp game it was advertised as a mmorpgish fps but it's more of a pvp game.

I wouldn't say that having less personality than Halo is a bad thing. Halo is one of the greatest games ever created. Destiny PVP is great is great, it's the PVE that's a bit useless. Hopefully this new raid provided some temporary relief from that.

In my opinion, video games are not only meant to be finished (complete endgame) but also enjoyed. There's no reason to only run strikes for loot, or only do a raid for loot, or specifically play pvp for loot. I play video games to have fun and enjoy them. Pvp in Destiny happens to be extremely enjoyable for myself and many others.

I honestly don't see how it can be enjoyable it's full of tryhards and broken to jell that's why I stick to battlefield and black ops for my pvp fix.

It's all preference. Destiny has amazing gun-play and movement which is why I enjoy it so much. I play lots of other competitive pvp games as well.
