I stopped explaining the raid to new people the moment new people started lying about having done the raid.
Before every new part, I ask "has anyone not done this before or isn't comfortable with a certain task" 9 times out of 10, no one responds asking for help.
Seven wipes later and I pull up everyone's stats on destiny tracker.
10 times out of 10 there is at least one person with 0 or 1 hard clears. That person is told exactly why they are being booted (for lying, not for sucking) and then booted.

And thats where you and I differ. After I look at stats I will then ask what they are unclear on and explain what their part of that fight is. Normally after that they will understand that I am not trying to single them out but help them.

Yeah you and I differ in that I don't tolerate being lied to when I attempted to help before any time is wasted. If someone put their pride ahead of what was best for the remaining five people in the group and refused to take help that was being offered, there is no room in my group for them.
