Should horrible perks be removed
There are a few horrific perks in destiny should they be removed

(5) take a knee: i find it very rare to find anyone crouching either in PvE or PvP (unless they are camping). (4) snap shot: only really noticable effects on the lightest weapons. (3) secret round: change to "pulse rifle sometimes fires a forth round" rather than if you miss. (2) head seeker: can sometimes be useless. (1) range finder: i have never seen much diference in damage at distance. Edit: these perks "can be good" but they have to be on specific weapon types to see any benifit (if you get them on the wrong weapon type it can pretty much screw the entire weapon up) such as range finder on shotgun or underdog on a sniper rifle like i seem to keep getting (so far i have had 3x 1kys each with underdog each time along with unflinching). as for armor perks (there are ony a few really bad ones). (4) take that: not very usefull if you have no orbs to pick up or have your super already (would have been better with bonus armor). (3) any of the weapon upgrade focus perks. (2) Iron to Gold (i think thats what it was called the perk that absorbs orbs for granade energy when the super is full): not great for raids or strikes where you need to keep orbs available for super use. (1) Guerilla Fighter: useless with no real cover physics in the game (you have "partial cover" from rocks but if you cant shift into the wall and actually take cover useless) i think they originally intended to put in a proper cover system.

The only one that hands down needs to be removed is Guerilla Fighter or what ever it's called. I just call it Harambe. But yeah, it's actually retarded.

5 AntwortenBad perks vary according to play style, I, personally, enjoy using Guerilla Fighter if I ever get a weapon with it. The one perk that we can all seem useless is Exhumed.

3 AntwortenTheir are certain perks that I always believe are trash right off the bat. Exumed is one perk. I can only see use for it in doubles matches and maybe salvage/trials of your the last guardian. Maybe I don't fully understand the perk. Maybe someone who is enlightened could make a video on how to use these perks effectively in PVP.

Bad perks are understandable. But some perks are simply unusable. Guerilla Fighter is one such perk. It's not just that it's mundane or bad, but that there is no reason to have it. It doesn't make a weapon useful, and the only unique quality it gives a gun is giving a Guardian a sigh of sadness and a couple legendary marks.

I think they should be buffed or reworked entirely. Having more perks keeps things interesting and different, removing them would just make guns feel less varied.

1 AntwortenSome folks have adopted play styles to compliment almost every perk available. The combination of perks needs to be addressed though...Why would I want knee pads AND Icarus on a slow charging fusion rifle?
