Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Who else's panties are wet? I've been waiting forever for another Deus Ex and it seems to be better from HR in that you can use stealth to get past boss fights. Haven't really kept up on the news about it since I want to have a fresh experience.
So who else is ready for this sketti?

I'm enjoying it but man other than the cut scenes it doesn't look like a next gen game and the sound desynching with the characters mouth is offputting.

It's so much fun so far! Taking my time getting to know the new mechanics in the first level, but I'm loving it already.

Oh, and my other biggest criticism is that the lip synching is often a mess. :/ Several of the cutscenes so far just haven't felt right, and one big one felt very out of place.

8 AntwortenGot it early yesterday. So far it's pretty good, I'm just not used to it yet. Though the controls can be iffy; Y is meant to holster or draw your weapon but doesn't often enough. Also having to hold LT to take cover (there's no toggle option) is annoying.

3 AntwortenIt looks really awesome. I'm a bit leery though as HR was a game I just couldn't get into despite being very much into the story/setting. So far the reviews and the gameplay videos have alleviated much of my concerns, but I'm going to have to wait a little while before I can get it anyway. Too much backlog already >_<

2 AntwortenI'm beyond ready, all the good reviews it's been getting have only made the wait feel longer. Although I don't think that bit about bosses is entirely true. From what I've heard, there aren't any boss fights outside of the final encounter, which according to Jim -blam!-ing Sterling Son, is comparable to a Metal Gear Solid boss. If you've ever played an MGS game, you'd know that's a pretty -blam!-in good thing to hear. [spoiler]Thank god for Jim[/spoiler]

1 AntwortenNabbed it for 40$ on PC and been keeping my mind off of it since to allow it to pass by faster. Is it true that you can use stealth against bosses rather then being forced to use guns though?
