Wtf has been done to shotguns?
Before I get anyone saying get good or shotguns are op trust me I know how shotguns work in this game I know how to use them well.
But over the last while I've noticed a difference in them in the way they perform. I Dono if it's something to do with bungie getting ready for the new update or if it's something on my end connection wise but recently I've felt like shotguns aren't doing their job it feels like they've been nerfed again. Players taking 2 shots to die and sometimes living through 2 shots even at distances where one shot should've done the job. Sometimes it feels like phantom shotty shots like last word when you KNOW you're hitting but either no damage or a tiny fraction of the damage expected and deserved comes out of it.
Is it just me or has anybody else noticed this?

I constantly get ghost bullets with my conspiracy theory, which I've recorded to watch back to make sure I'm just not missing my shots

We also got the cancerous Shoulder charging, twilight garrison, shot gunning Titans You also have times when shotguns will miss if you just melee the shotgun net and you just teleport right next to him and he miss.

I've encountered the same problem! Sometimes I would shotgun and then melee the player but they'd get away with a fraction of their health.

I've noticed this for a long time but recently they seem worse. You can shoot a guy from the same range over and over and only get the kill half the time.

There's a bug in some skill tree not sure what it is but I've experienced it with a party crasher every other shotty seems fine. Party crasher has had this problem since it was introduced which is why triple wreck ran felwiners

1 AntwortenSome of my shots fired from my God role party crashed +1 (rangefinder/underdog) ghost and don't hit whatsoever when I'm aimed directly at the enemy. I record those moments so i know the shots ghosted. I use my finalas peril once a few shots start ghosting. So, yes, i do have the same problem.

They can't balance shotguns like every other multiplayer game developer (in which their MP games have a bigger emphasis on shotgun combat).

2 AntwortenMaybe it's just you. I get killed plenty of times with shotguns at questionable ranges. And blink shotgun is still a thing. But I'm not calling for a nerf as I think it's pretty balanced now.

5 Antwortenlol all these comments saying use a primary had me go look up what weapons I use. I guess I'm pretty bad since on both my warlock and titan my 2 top top percentage of kills are with a shotgun and sniper and they are within 1% of each other . I need to lay off the special weapons a bit I guess. 😆

I dont use shotties much but recently i got invective out the vault and used that. I felt like I was getting all the kills I should have with 1 or 2 exceptions over the course of a few days. Its good on my titan not so much for my hunter but I found its range rivalled a low range fusion rifle which I think is bit stupid. Overall verdict is its good but I prefer my fusion rifles.

Shotguns,next to snipers are the most OP weapon in the game, If u use a shotgun and still fail it is not the guns fault , The fault there would be that you are just not as good as you think.

I feel you, it seems everytime i shoot with a shotgun first at someone else that has one and the dude is like 2 feet in front of me. I shot first, he has a quarter health still. Then he shoots, one shots me. Literally all that happens to me and its really annoying.

Happens every game at least once. I'll die, they'll scamper away with shields in tact. Yet my shotgun has more range and impact..

Sorry but High-Impact Shotguns have basically to much range. If Bungie nerf Shotguns again, i agree with Bungie. And i'm a Shotgun Player in pvp.
