I'm really hyped for the private PVP options that has been revealed to us. I would like to request the same consideration for similar mode's that PVE players can create like they have built for PVP.
Strike playlists or POE with all options of modifiers and all maps available and vehicles. Since you have the option to set the light level in these private PVP maps, it would be nice to set light level strikes for PVE. It would also be helpful and add fun for larger clans and friends if you could set the players to join up to 6.
It would also be interesting for us if a hub is created where some of these PVP and PVE creations that are favored can be saved and listed to be played by anyone.

Is this a thing yet and if not, why not? Just do it Bungie.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von micktheknife: 8/20/2016 2:41:01 AMI've been wanting something like this for awhile now. When you go to play Halo, you set the difficulty, modifiers, and scoring if you want. I'd love to be able to set up something similar with strikes and story missions. To go and run Omnigul LASO (Legendary: all skulls on) is a fantasy I've had for months. Edit: How would this effect loot? Simple, give each Modifier a +1 or a -1. Mods like Trickle, match game, and angry would be +1, burns would be neutral, and mods like airborn or brawler would be -1. Zero is the default setting, and the higher positive you go, the more likely you'd be to see drops by X%. Same thing reversed for negatives.

Ummmmmm...
Bump
optional matchmaking is PvE's long standing request that is about in line with private matches. can see which one got done.

this would be a good idea along with optional matchmaking but unless your not crying enough like the crucibabies then bungie wont hear you

It's interesting how the "new" feature they are adding has been featured in so many other games from day one. Other games that have been around for several years, before destiny. I guess I have to give credit to their planning dept. When you make a bare bones, minimum viable, paltry product...the only way the game can go is up. Yet there will be those, knowingly and willing to support such game making practice. Those willing to support the dumbing down of the gaming industry. I really don't know who is worse...those that support such business practice or bungovi$ion/producers, publishers themselves.

I would even like for them to add Optional Matchmaking to strikes. JMO

Sounds interesting. I like it.

I do enjoy running nightfall solo would like it if I could run regular strikes solo

1 AntwortenI would say that private matches are the testing ground for them. If it a success than I say they would add it to pve as well. I love to make pve as hard as I could main reason I find it boring is because it too easy at times.

Bearbeitet von Louise Belcher: 8/19/2016 6:53:42 PMI love it. I have avoided strike playlists like the plague ever since my early experiences with AFK'ers on sepiks prime in year one. We need to have more content worth doing in game besides facerolling strikes for bad loot. Bungie has been way too restrictive about the speed in which they allow pve gear to be gained outside of raids. If we could crank up the difficulty settings on vanguard strikes to be on par with the nightfall, those of us in raid gear might actually find strikes worth doing again.

1 AntwortenI'd love it if in the custom matches(pvp) or strikes(pve) if we had the option to equip all exotics just for fun. I don't even care if they won't let us do it in reg pvp or pve, but I'd love it if we could do it just for fun in custom private matches. Bump if you agree guardians!!!

This. SO MUCH THIS! PvE: Strikes only or be able to do certain Public Events? I'm mainly sick of these 3 max player count.

Innovative idea. Jk just another feature that should have been available at release.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von hatch_87: 8/19/2016 5:08:37 PMI would love to be able to load into a patrol solo.. it would make completing bounties and test weapons easier... I absolutely hate competing with other guardians when im trying to accomplish a task.. now when Im done? sure.. I wouldn't mind a public patrol.. but until im finished... I wish everyone would just -blam!- the -blam!- off...

1 AntwortenThat would be an interesting idea. It would take a lot of work but it would be pretty entertaining. You could even have tournaments for finishing strikes with crazy modifiers and fastest time wins. It would be pretty entertaining but Id say include the raid as well. Id say realistically it could be a Destiny 2 addition because that would take a ton of work.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kone19ps: 8/19/2016 4:10:21 PMThey had the skulls in halo. More evidence of their terrible editting tools. The edge article seemed to put the blame on studio communication and cohesion which I'm sure was an issue too but their studio growing wasn't the main issue. They claimed in the gdc way back in 2015 that they didn't even build the engine to be editor friendly and admitted it can take a whole day to render one small change.

11 AntwortenI like it. But how would variable private strikes effect loot given at the end of the strike? We already have heroic strikes and the nightfall strike to try to gain loot, and the heroic strike playlist offers a loot booster if you stay in matchmaking. Personally, I would like to see strikes go back to how they were in Y1. Nightfall was extremely unforgiving, so you had to be careful when you played it, but it was also really rewarding and could be a lot of fun if you had elemental primaries to compliment your other weapons... Heroic strikes gave you guaranteed strange coins, and you only had to run them 3x a week! They were MUCH harder too, but since you only had to run it 3x a week, it was worth doing. I used to actually love running strikes back in y1 - when after I did my nightfalls/heroics, I could drop into easier strikes to get ships, shaders, etc. from the strikes or I wanted to farm for glimmer and rares to dismantle. G-horn, B-hammer, and Icebreaker made running those strikes fast and fun, and because of that, they were much less tedious. But now I just plain hate strikes because TTK feels like an endless strike grind. I would love if Bungie incorporated your idea by turning back the clocks on the strike list so that they functioned like they did in Y1. Then, if people wanted to get together for custom strikes at custom levels, let them do it. Just make it so you can view your chances of getting legendary/exotic gear on the side when you are creating the match based on LL difficulty. No 3oC necessary to get extra chances at loot. This could entirely replace 3oC which make it FAR TOO EASY to get exotics. Instead, exotics need to be made much harder to get so that they can return to being difference makers again. I will say this though, If they did this, I am not sure it is a good idea that they let us choose our own strike modifiers, because I'm guessing most trikes would be specialist + solar burn (black spindle or Sleeper anyone?), Arc burn + small arms (Zhalo), etc. You get the idea. People would stack the modifiers in their favor just to run the strikes more quickly at the highest level to obtain loot. Just some Ideas I had bouncing in my head last night. Feel free to comment.

1 AntwortenAwesome idea. That would be fun indeed.
