So just the other day a friend of mine was playing crucible and I was there with him. He had just gotten the red death and he wanted to see how it would do in the crucible for him, so we went in and won a couple games but that's when we ended up against some kids that were getting mad because they thought he was hacking or some other bullshit. They ended up spamming the report button for cheating and the next day he was banned on psn.
If anything they need to moderate that report button to where you can only report one person once. And if they go to spam the report button then they need like a simple ban time say two hours.
I'm actually quite sick with how they spam it and people get banned for using shit that was already in the game.

Bungie doesn't ban just because someone spammed the report option.

4 AntwortenWas it a PlayStation account ban or a restriction/ban through destiny? If thru destiny, player reports are just the start of it and restrictions are never handed out solely based on reports. Bungies security response team uses reports to check in to players activity. If they find misdeeds, they will restrict or ban accounts. Just based on what you say, it sounds like your friend had a poor connection and was probably lagging pretty hard. A consistently poor connection is grounds for an account restriction. If the restriction/ban was through Sony, that's something your friend would have to take up with Sony.
