Title.
It'd be nice to know...
Edit: To those of you saying it would promote hate mail: wouldn't a low kill count also promote hate mail? People don't really hate on eachother for low kill count after a strike, so why would they do it for this?
This would simply be another statistic that we can look at and use for self evaluation and improvement. They should also add other stats such as assists, total damage dealt, orbs generated, majors killed, how long it took, revives, etc. It can be useful information to help us better our performance all around.
For groups of friends who play with eachother consistently, it could even promote some friendly competition.
Edit 2: Someone mentioned showing what medals you earned after each Crucible match. I like this idea a lot too! We need to see how well we did Bungie! More stats can't hurt. Negative people will always be negative and they'll send hate mail regardless. If you get hate mail, who cares? You finished the strike, ignore them. Use the stats to your advantage so you can improve your play, it's beneficial to new guardians and experienced veterans alike. We all have room for improvement.

1 AntwortenAnd low kill counts doesn't promote hate either. If I am running Nightstalker with black hole and I have two warlocks with storm caller, they will have more kills but I will have more assists. Not to mention a proper defender titan will be more of a support role and not get as many kills as a Sunbreaker due to supers alone. And as defender you should have it set up so they almost always have a super.

2 AntwortenLMAO saying this shouldn't be in the game because of hate mail/ hurt feelings is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard
-
And 'Overall Damage' for Raids. YES, PLEASE!!!
-
1 AntwortenWould be a good way to test weapons. I don't think it would creat a problem because it's only a strike. I never hear people raging at damage in the raid.

The only positive outcome would be to see who needs to quit messing with their castle crashers and shoot more. But I play with people who feel bad when I help them and get 40 more kills and 60 more precision kills than them. I say focus on changes that matter rather than things that do not. Showing someone deals less damage would just add insult to injury. They already do it in the raid and people get yelled at for it when in reality they ran out of spindle ammo but cannot pop a synth because they just used heavy. BUUUUT... I would love to use it to show a few friends that their opinion on certain guns being "a million times better" like different sniper rifles or hand cannons are inaccurate and completely false altogether

4 AntwortenI mean, it's in the KF raid. DPS to Golgoroth DPS to the sisters DPS to Oryx.
-
5 Antwortenjust so I can be disappointed that I have the most kills and the highest DPSer because randos during strikes usually suck? sure.. why not
-
I see your point but It's about team work. Plenty of people do not realise that not just kills, but assists help out in strikes. One player may be weighing heavily into the boss while others are mopping up the rest. I'm not bothered about that feature, just my opinion.
-
10 AntwortenI hate stats. Just kill dudes, and don't -blam!-ing die. The rest is moot.
-
I'd rather like to set damage done overall. Kill count doesn't matter. It could just be the asshole gets the last hit but isn't doing much else. Like CoE or whatever it's called in the reef. You can see everyone's personal score, so you know who's contributing and who is sand bagging.

Good call .

-
2 AntwortenYesssss please!!! Even on raids
-
I love this idea. BUMP
-
I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
5 AntwortenNo need , I know I do the most the damage always. At the end of all strikes it's like this: Dukesniper - 120 kills Derp 1 - 40 kills Derp 2 - 25 kills
-
1 AntwortenI'll probably only use it to see how much health a boss has. It's still cool though.
-
Yes, either add this, or remove kill counts. Makes no sense to have one and not the other. Also, it would be nice in raids if there was a way to see these stats when you kill the boss, instead of only sometimes when you wipe.
-
-
Very nice idea. I think we all at some point have wondered how much overall damage we did but in the end decided not to care simply because we defeated the boss. Would be useful to determine which weapons can hold their own and which ones hold you back
-
Would love to know this. I don't understand the hate mail logic people are coming up with... Do they realise it's matchmade? And they can't be kicked?
-
Random- keep these adds off me I'm hitting the boss Me- sure Random- boss killed me while blade dancing could you pick me up? Me- sure Boss dies Random- wow what a scrub look at that weak DPs Me- sure Stop with stats they lead to player haters If anything just list the combat rating it's the overall rating of how you did.
-
This is why i like the Neverwinter leaderboards. They show damage dealt, hp restored, enemies killed and damage taken. This little bit of extra information helps define how you stack up against everyone imo.

1 AntwortenSure, I'll put it in there. Anything else I can do for you?
