I'm focusing on casual PvP and not trials when I say this. This is just my opinion, but I honestly believe that the weapons you choose for your load-out are only half the battle to winning in the Crucible. People need to stop crying to Bungie to please nerf everything that kills them. That weapon your opponent is using is not the issue . . . . . you're getting outplayed. I'm not talking about opponents with red bar connections and lag switchers because that's obviously out of your control. It seems like people wanna blindly flock to meta weapons. If I can just get that god rolled whatever then I will be swimming in the W's. Your core first person shooter skills will win you the game. Can you traverse the map fluidly and juke? Are you aware of choke points? Can you predict where the opponents will be based on what control points are capped, who just died etc? Is your aim solid to where you can land consistent headshots? Do you blindly run towards the radar ping? Do you use grenades and equipment effectively? If I constently keep getting killed by Joe Blow using his The Last Word/Longbow combo then guess what? He's outplaying me and every death will be a bit of lesson to me. I've been testing Green and Blue loadouts in the Crucible, and the results have been nearly the same as if I had chosen Legendaries and Exotics to use. I'm an average player but do manage to go positive consistently. Just find weapons that you click with and learn from your mistakes guys. No tears, only fun now.
-
Can you stop being positive, that's not really our thing around here
-
"Oh man I got killed by the last word and a somehow auto tracking 1000 yard stare, I just got outplayed". No. Destiny is literally "play the meta or you lose" the game
-
1 AntwortenHow about admitting that you absolutely suck at Crucible and should be playing something closer to your skill level, like Candy Land?
-
1 AntwortenYou don't get better at this game. Destiny is literally a numbers game. 75% luck 25% skill, if it's your turn to lose, Bungie will sure as hell make sure you lose. Melee's that never connect, terrible spawns, 'accuracy stat' it's just a numbers game man. First 3 games, you go 25 and 6, next 5 games you go 15 and 17, just numbers my man.
-
Awwww you faced a red bar team? So did your team mate. You went .38 and your team mate went 1.5 so the 3 dollar question is why? Im sure they complained and were flustered just as much as you by it so why could they still pull positive while you got farmed?
-
2 AntwortenSoooo if you put half a mag into someone and they skip all over the map and they kill me then I got outplayed???? Lmao yeah right
-
Wait so I got out played by a red bar who was teleporting around the map?
-
1 AntwortenHaha, this post has a ton of funny replies. Kudos OP.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von startrekker96: 8/15/2016 10:15:56 PMThis topic is exactly the reason why I will never be in the top 1% of players xD I get incredibly salty incredibly easy, even in "unimportant" PvP..I guess I just don't like being beaten if I struggle to see how a kill happened. This is why Bungie needs a killcam system in place. *ahem* Anyway, I will admit here and now that I'm not the best player; hell, I doubt I'm even average. I must point out that I have been getting better with a sniper though..back in Y1, I was hesitant to even touch a sniper because I was truly terrible in Crucible (I'd be lucky if I could hit Rank 3 in IB). I have been doing better, but I'm by no means perfect. Over the weekend, I found myself raging at a chap who managed to get over 7k points in Control using LW and a Matador - they were actually rather good, but the red mist had already descended by that point.
-
2 AntwortenLol, no. I'm perfect, so if he beat me he is obviously hacking
-
No one outplays me, I'm the Chuck Norris of destiny. I pop Titan bubbles with a glare, rez-snipe with a cumshot, Titan-skate as a warlock, I have a gun that fires rapid wombo-combos, and my super nukes the world.

1 AntwortenYou're wrong! I don't have to recognize anything! I'll be as ignorant as I want to be.

1 AntwortenOUTPLAYED http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/YOU%20BAD%20QQ%20LOL/video/20570503 http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/YOU%20BAD%20QQ%20LOL/video/20196498 Every match there is at least 1-2 some times as high as 4 red bars. This game is a joke and once IB hits tomorrow all the laggers will be playing that. It's pathetic and bungie needs to step up and put an end to SBMM. Bad connection players need to be segregated into their own lobby's so they can teleport all over one another.
-
6 AntwortenIt's also kind of hard to admit you've been outplayed when the people you play against have connections from every color of the rainbow every 3 seconds. :)
-
It's Halo and if you had a play style that kept you above 1.0 you were doing fine.

I can tell when I got out played and will usualy say "Good play dude, good play"....... Other times it's "Fukr, you should've died. Good game Bungie, good game"
-
Which is why Destiny will always be mediocre.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Heidegger: 8/15/2016 10:55:29 PM40 hours in crucible...
Across three characters
I appreciate you trying to throw an opinion but 40 hours....

Whenever I play, I admit that I got outplayed, but my problem is that I lag, so I always feel dirty when I do good on a game
-
A good post, a timely reminder. It took me quite a while to realise and accept my biggest problem was how bad my aim was!
-
Stop whining. You sound like those arseholes always flapping on about nerfs.....
