I'm focusing on casual PvP and not trials when I say this. This is just my opinion, but I honestly believe that the weapons you choose for your load-out are only half the battle to winning in the Crucible. People need to stop crying to Bungie to please nerf everything that kills them. That weapon your opponent is using is not the issue . . . . . you're getting outplayed. I'm not talking about opponents with red bar connections and lag switchers because that's obviously out of your control. It seems like people wanna blindly flock to meta weapons. If I can just get that god rolled whatever then I will be swimming in the W's. Your core first person shooter skills will win you the game. Can you traverse the map fluidly and juke? Are you aware of choke points? Can you predict where the opponents will be based on what control points are capped, who just died etc? Is your aim solid to where you can land consistent headshots? Do you blindly run towards the radar ping? Do you use grenades and equipment effectively? If I constently keep getting killed by Joe Blow using his The Last Word/Longbow combo then guess what? He's outplaying me and every death will be a bit of lesson to me. I've been testing Green and Blue loadouts in the Crucible, and the results have been nearly the same as if I had chosen Legendaries and Exotics to use. I'm an average player but do manage to go positive consistently. Just find weapons that you click with and learn from your mistakes guys. No tears, only fun now.

Na fam when I see someone shooting me through a damn Boulder/wall that's where I draw the line and rage and it happens way too often.
-
There's been times I've been outplayed I'll admit but there's also been times where I've been red bar warriored
-
I'm perfect sir I never lose a gunfight at fault of my own
-
The second step is giving me a foot rub.

Went 8-0 three times this weekend in trials. It's not the players we vs just one teammate of mine that can't carry their own weight which holds us back most times in trials. That being said, we have gone flawless plenty of times but could be going a lot more.

Hard to improve when, to borrow a moniker from a different poster, you're facing Laggatron and the Connecticons.

3 AntwortenI appreciate what your aiming for here, but no. The game is 30% weapons, 30% player skill, and 40% latency. The odds favor the better player and the better weapons. There is still far to much chance to lose to lag. I truly believe this plays a large role in the problem dealing with shotguns, and to some degree snipers. Remember that time you got blasted by universal remote and the other guy was 20 feet away and his gun was pointing at the ground? Hello Latency.

Never. It's the game's fault.
THEY'RE ALL HACKERS
I get outplayed in rumble every 30 seconds or so. But do I learn?
-
2 AntwortenOr or... When you're losing pull out the thorn! Right? That's what the other cowards keep doing. My favorite thing is making a guy switch his entire load out mid game just to kill me then t bags. Nothing screams "I got outplayed" more than that

I am in the middle on this post. I agree with you on play style being a huge factor. If I run into someone one on one, I come out victorious probably 70% of the time. My play style weakness is that almost never happens lol. I get into it with two or three at once, and I get one down maybe 50% and the other mops me up. I disagree about the meta weapons

. These make a huge difference if you know what you are doing, which I don't obviously. The really good rolls give you a noticeable edge over the other players that can make the difference in each engagement. A really nice hawksaw is killer. TLW can crush you up close and often at mid range. A really nice scout blows you apart before you can even see the shooter. If you put a meta weapon in my hands, it helps a little. If you put it in the hands of a good player, they can crush everyone lol.

Obviously the first step is fleeing to the forums to complain that the Imprecation is OP because it killed you.

I'm only out played by lag and cheaters... Naw for real, I'm trash. ;(

3 IB ago i kept getting pissed off like any regular destiny player. This last one i just stopped getting so angry since what is really the point. If i die im dead. The lag, glitching, hacking, and just pure bs is there often but also just sucking is a thing. I pvped way better in Y1 and got carried to the lighthouse in Y2 for the flawless kitty emblem because of how bad i am. In Y1 i went flawless twice, 1 with 2 totally random people and the other with a friend of mine and his. I know im bad and sometimes i just accept it and not really play my best because of the fact im pretty much put against people who are way better then me 80% of the time.

4 AntwortenMost of my deaths are either from a super (usually a panic) or my teammates being oblivious to everything. I never expect a teammate to win a gun fight but to at least buy me time while I'm in another.

4 AntwortenOP is casual asf and wants to give pointers on PVP... Playing in your low tier pool of casual scrubs doesn't give you any insight into the headaches avid Crucible players have to deal with. The shitty people you go up against are not the same individuals I get matchmade against. There is no using green or blue weapons for me unless I want to be put at a serious disadvantage. Casuals should really keep their mouth shut about PVP, it is beyond annoying hearing you -blam!-ers talk like you know what the -blam!- is going on.

Bearbeitet von MasterChief666: 8/16/2016 6:46:36 AMI agree, strategy can make all the difference. If you can play smarter, you already have an advantage. The way I see it is: The guns don't need nerfing (not referring to ones that have a legit reason like there have been in the past). There's always going to be someone better than you. There's likely someone out there BETTER than you, who uses a gun that you may think is trash or that you just suck with it. Sometimes you're just not good enough, and it's not their guns fault, it's yours for letting them kill you with it...

What about when you go up against the asshole that desperately needs to reset their router?
-
3 AntwortenWhat if being "outplayed" was due to univerasl remote no back up plans and extra armor from a titan?
-
-
I refuse to admit the guy who killed me in a fair 1v1 outplayed me, he had a gun so he's clearly hacking
-
The first step to getting better in PVP is...... wait for it ........ 1. Go to Orbit / Leave the fireteam, so many crazy mismatches, control today 1500 / 300 yeah no thanks Bungie no thanks 2. Ignore any articles that tell you how to get better cause once you play elite players there's nothing to learn and every tactics / weapon loadout is a huge disapointement
-
Yeah man. That good old Destiny netcode and SBMM really outplayed me. Some dude found a way to unnerf armor piercing rounds and nailed me through a wall. GG.
-
Was playing trials last night went up against a team we quickly learned didn't have any long range ability so we kept our distance went from 0-2 to 5-3 messaged the guys saying good game told them why we won to hopefully help them
-
1 AntwortenI don't mind when I'm outplayed, legit, lag is the only thing that really pisses me off.
-
Can you stop being positive, that's not really our thing around here
