Been having a bit of trouble every once in awhile with this. Wondering if I'm just off my game or if anyone else has this problem. I'll shoot and swear I see the bullet connect but they take no damage.
*EDIT: For those saying I should just pace my shots - Trust me. I do. My problem isn't pacing. It's that my headshots don't register sometimes even when I do. Or sometimes you don't have the option of pacing because every other weapon type will kill you too fast. I'll get shot 4 to 5 times with MIDA at ANY range before I can fire off more than 1 or 2 shots.

17 AntwortenI'm a handcannon guy turned pulse rifle just because of this reason. I'm also a shotty guy turned fusion rifle. What I've been experiencing with the fusion rifles is that some of the close range shots are not registering. I always end up getting stabbed in the face after the fact. So, it's not just hand cannons. This is also happening with fusion rifles.

Think this happens more than people realise it's just hand cannon users will find it most obvious as it leaves you exposed after thinking you killed the guy. Then by the time you adjust it's too late. Crucible is poor mate and sad to say don't think it's going to change. Just gotta ignore it I suppose

All hcs does this. Specially my tlw. Sometimes it registers all the time and sometimes never lol. My uffernhc with super high range always have ghost bullets its a shame because its my best rolled hc.

Every time I use Hawkmoon, some games are great and others are terrible. I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with how lag and/or latency affect hit registration. I'm going to start paying attention to wether I have better games when I'm hosting or not.

They all have negative aim assist

It's based on the range of that handcannon if it has horrible range then the bullets disappear if the opponent is too far.

Yeah, this has been a constant problem ever since Bungie implemented patch 2.0 to start off year 2, ever since then Hand Cannons have been mediocre in PVP and less than useless in PVE. A few months ago Bungie did a few tweaks to Hand Cannons and since then few of them have become viable ( The a Devil You a Know for example ). Others remain ineffective ( for use camp,e Hawkmoon ), it all depends on what you are using and how much aim assist it has.

RNG shots no matter how u try to term it. It's a punishment for having great accuracy and reaction times They should just lower their firerates or have them deal less damage since it will accomplish the same goal Fire too fast? Then why did u monkeys allow that firerate and underestimate players? Players aren't equal and 1.0 everywhere makes zero sense They're indirect nerfs to players and a way to make sure dumb ppl can't notice changes. They should make it PVP not Player Vs RNG Guns.... Whoever agrees with the bs of firing too fast, just shows how easily manipulated and uninformed they are. We the players can experience what it really is and no defining ur own terms will change it

only with shorter range hand cannons. my ace lands so consistently that I have trouble using anything else.

The amount of people agreeing here is blowing my mind. Their so bad but EVERYONE wants a god roll eysaluna right now. So confusing haha. HC are so good and I only started using them about two months ago. Literally 90% of streamers use HCs

It's not you it's all I get it really bad all the time you can be dead on with aim an nothing happens something has happened with it guess when they nerfed hand cannons something happen it use to be a time when handcannons where a high risk high reward weapon but now they are in a bad state right now

They've never felt as good as they were before they got the accuracy nerf.

Your problem is ghost shots- when Bungie nerfed hand cannons so that if they hit or not is RNG, it left a glitch that sometimes it looks like your shot hits, but the computer decides that the enemy shouldn't take any damage. And yes, it is very stupid.
