Notice how the majority of the community has less kings fall completions than VOG or CE
It really says something when you can look at the majority of the community's raid completions and VOG or CE have more completions than kings fall.

12 AntwortenSo, judging by everybody's criticisms of KF, everybody just wants a glorified 6 person strike with no mechanics, no communicateing, just shooting, that can be completed in less than 30 minutes, and can be solo'd in case everybody else in your party dies. Also, every completion will reward you with every piece of top level, overpowered gear. Do I have that correct? If that's the way you feel, please forgive Bungie for actually trying to make a challenging raid. Maybe Destiny is just too tough for you. Try Hello Kitty instead.

I understand your perspective in regards to how King's Fall is lackluster compared to the other two. Especially so in weapons in my opinion. But also take into account that this cant be completely compared to the other two raids because the other two when they came out were the only avenue towards maxing out your character. You needed all of the raid gear in order to be the most powerful in IB or other end game content, whereas you now have IB, Trials, Raids, and Faction packages that can get you to max light.

Vog and ce have been out longer.. But I hear what your saying. Personally I think raid challenges has ruined raids..for the raiders that run with the same people it's OK,but with randoms it's usually a shit show. Can't just run through a raid anymore without having to get hung up on the challenge part with randoms

Actually I think it's lack of need/reward. I ground the h*ll out of vault and cross every week, 3 characters all hoping for my Gjally drop, or fatebringer etc. Now 3oC and wayyyyy underwhelming exotics makes it pointless

1 AntwortenThe issue with this raid is not the raid itself, but its loot and how you can get to max light. The loot of the raid thus far is more lackluster in comparison to other raids. And there are other ways to get 335 light than just the raid, unlike previous expansions. And the fact that new players will run the first two raids first before King's Fall.

King's Fall is twice the raid CE was. Both in length and quality. VoG is better than both. The cool thing about my (two cent)-ences is that they are both opinions, like your "spoiler." The other issue that could be causing low total of completions is that besides ToM quest, it's really not worth it to run the raid, fun or not.

Raids are a giant waste of time! You can never find 5 other people that are on the same page. You have one ass playing his stupid radio so loud you can't hear him. You have another dick stopping for smoke breaks every 15 minutes. You get another jackass that thinks he knows it all, but you spend most of your time reviving him. Then you get king dick head who starts yelling at you cause you misunderstood what he said in the first place cause the one idiot has his shit music blasting and another one is a squeaker that can't shut up for a second. No thanks!!! No more of that aggravating bullshit for me. I'd rather go in the crucible and be shoulder charged in the head for 10 minutes then sit for hours achieving nothing.

3 AntwortenIt's because the loot that drops is nowhere near the calibre of the VoG / CE weapons. The rewards are more infusion material. Plus the rewards system on the older raids was far less "rewarding" in that I ran Crota every week on 3 characters for like 10 solid weeks and never got black hammer. The carrot on a stick

I don't see the hate towards KF, I ejoy the raid and did it now 80 times total...which is less than my CE and VOG Combined...also vog and crota gave me what I wanted sooner than later but thats besides the case...all 3 raids got something unique and fun about them and really can't see how KF is unejoyable...or why people dislike it...strange

Disagree. Have way less completions on kings fall, but it's for different reasons. 1. Don't have as many people playing as I use 2 so raids happen less often. 2. For the reason above we can run vault or Crota when we don't have enough people for oryx. 3. Oryx is more punishing to individual players abilities and not always the best choice when you have a group of people who struggle with the game/don't play much. Vault is still my favorite raid, but I enjoy the emphasis on mechanics and need for everyone to hold up their end that kings fall provides

5 AntwortenKing's Fall, the raid, doesn't suck at all. It's a very challenging raid. What was terrible for a long was the loot. Spend ages on an encounter, then hope for the right loot and then the right light. That turned a lot of people off.

Similarly the raid weapons themselves are no longer desired weapons. Since VoG there have been no "must have" raid weapons such as the Vex or VoC or Fatebringer. Further, back in Y1 there were really only 2 ways to get exotics, VoG chests/bosses and night falls. We now have 3oC allowing us to have exotics from almost every strike and even from patrols. Long story short, by requesting more paths to max light and less dependency on certain "must have" raid weapons, we are devaluing raid completions and rewards. (Also the fact that VoG was a better raid than CE or KF)

I have more KF completions than VOG but less than Crota. It doesn't bother me like some people.

Jump across these ships, Jump in and out of Golgs pit, Jump along this D-Wall, Jump up this spire of rocks, Jump through this maze but watch for the holes, Jump on these plates, Jump on around those platforms and JUMP onto the Sisters, Jump on these plates and platforms AGAIN.... See a pattern here? And SOMEHOW the guy who came up with THIS^^ Brilliant idea, is going to be making our future raids lol. Brain dead creators will always have dumb ideas...
