I will be buying it on PC so I have to wait until the 12th. I am very excited and pretty soon NMS posts will be jumping up everywhere.
My question is, without spoilers, is it good? Is it a quality game for what they were trying to pull off? You can tell me about certain mechanics or features because I don't consider that a "spoiler". What is your favorite mechanic in the game? Is there a mechanic that truly sells the game (besides the open world, that's obvious)?
Edit1: Less than 48 hours, just a little longer my friends. Also, thank you for all the replies and likes. This was a very helpful post and I am very excited to finally play this game.
Edit2: I have a brand new $1800 rig on the way and NMS will be the first game I play on it. I am so pumped.
Edit3: Just 1 more hour. I am very excited. Hold out just a little longer my fellow PC players.
Thank you for your time.

21 AntwortenThis is the only game thats ever really nailed that "scale" for me, everything is so huge, it feels perfect. Being able to seamlessly hop in your ship, look up, fly out of the atmosphere, and fly directly to another planet, is amazing. The size of some of the planets is daunting, like skyrims map size multiplied by hundreds or thousands. Being able to cruise through deep space, going anywhere, doing anything from killing all native life to just scanning and creating a data bank of everything. This game may not be perfect, but its perfect for me. The storytelling moments are done in my favorite style, me loving old school rpgs. I suggest getting it, if you enjoy space, science, exploration, and amazing background music.
i dont post much, but this game isnt something any one who enjoys space should pass up.
