After months of trying to get to lighthouse, realised that I needed a carry and got first lighthouse trip last weekend. With it came the Bastets Dream emblem. Have had the emblem on since then.
In a match of salvage (yesterdays daily), and got a spanking from a well drilled team. The rest of us were soloing it. I hold my hands up - I had a nightmare.
Post match got a message from an opponent saying "you must of got a carry. remove that emblem'. I didn't respond as I'd more than likely get myself banned. Are destiny players really that salty that they have to send messages like this, even when they win?
I used to draw hate using uni remote, now I can't even wear trials emblems without getting hate mail!

3 AntwortenI was once messaged in the tower by another guardian during vanilla destiny, to take off my shader because double banshee blue is a disgrace to warlocks everywhere. I responded with "ok?", then didn't take it off until HOW dropped. Wear that emblem proud guardian😌

There will always be salty people no matter where you go in life. Have fun and ignore the haters.

Bearbeitet von Divine_Majin93: 8/11/2016 3:56:23 PMThat's like me thinking I'm hot stuff for finally getting my first Gjally by preordering Rise of Iron. I'll be the first to admit, I can't stand sweaties, but if you're gonna look sweaty, you might as well reek of it or expect some ridicule from the sweat masters. All hail the sweaties!

Anyone salty about you having the flawless emblem on probably doesn't have anything OTHER than their flawless emblem to be proud of. Ignore the elitists.
-
People dont realize that there is something called a bad game.
-
1 AntwortenJust keep wearing that emblem, for me that usually is an indication of a bad player

Bearbeitet von Diplomat: 8/11/2016 4:07:48 PMI've only been to lighthouse once, I have the exotic emblem from year one and did not get carried when I went but still don't use the emblem very much because I haven't been able to get there since. If you self evaluate you should not really feel that great wearing that emblem because in reality you didn't really earn it so I understand why good players who go there regularly would feel that way. This is an honest personal opinion. Edit: removed comment about the scarab emblem because it's not really relevant for the conversation.

Flawless emblems are only cool to wear for 6 hours after a new one is released.
-
I would say take if off if you got carried. It's a false representation of your ability in the crucible, so if people stomp you thinking you're really good, they're gonna roast the sh*t out of you.
-
He was right, you didn't earn it. You should take it off.
-
I made my first run this weekend to
-
Honestly, people who have gone flawless don't always wear that emblem. Good on you though for seeing the lighthouse.
-
2 AntwortenWhile I feel being carried is kinda lame, if you worry about hatemail in destiny, just disable all of your communications. Some of the rudest people in the world play this game. It's kind of the reason I gave up on raids.
-
2 AntwortenSeen plenty of players with flawless emblem. Some are good some are bad. It really doesn't matter but I guess some people worship those emblem like the 2nd coming.
-
You really took this conversation to the wrong place if looking for sympathy. This forum is filled with the saltiest people alive.

2 AntwortenWhy get carried? I have never been to the lighthouse and get carry offers all the time. If i can't make it to the lighthouse with the group i roll with then hell with it. If we somehow make it to the lighthouse and i didn't do good during the matches and actually help then i still wouldn't rock that emblem
-
2 AntwortenDude, if you like the emblem then don't let others stop you. Also it is silly how they are sending you hate mail for wearing an emblem.
-
#videogame
-
Ignore them. Just kids being kids. I find that anyone who takes video games so serious that you send hate mail, you should stop playing. Cause if you cant deal with a video game you are never gonna last outside of it.
-
Trials is a team event. You went flawless as a team. Therefore you earned the right to use that emblem. You dont have to be a sunburnt guardian to use it.
-
1 AntwortenIn my experiences, people with Trials emblems don't perform very well in the crucible.

I'm just going to hijack this comment here ._. Sorry! I'm on Xbone, and I'm looking for a carry to the Lighthouse. It's for the grimoire, for some warlock armour. In return for your time I'll draw you something. I'm a pretty decent artist. I was on your side till you admitted to running Universe Remote. Picture the shame GIF from GoT. Yeah. That.
-
Do what you want. Just say they are the..... Hatred Aimed Towards Everyone Reaching Success that plagues all games.
-
Well I mean Zuni Remote is cheap but I have never heard of anyone getting my hatemail for what emblem they use. If you got the emblem you got the emblem, that's that. There shouldn't be getting hatemail.
-
I'm not bad in Pvp, I have about a 1.2 k/d which is average. Definitely not flawless. With that being said I have a couple of Trials emblems from Y1, even the exotic emblem. I hardly ever wear them because I know I was carried to the lighthouse. I mean I did my part in PvP and did what I could with the skills that I have. But I couldn't get those emblems without the help of a excellent PvP player. I wear them sometimes very rarely but I try to avoid the hate mail especially from salty gamers. So if you want to wear them it's your game but beware of the salty ones who see the emblem. Expect some backlash from it.
