It's not fun or challenging, it's just annoying and a waste of time.
Sincerely,
Everyone

3 AntwortenWhat is trickle again?

Agreed bump

Trickle is boring, our abilities are what make this shooter unique. Don't limit them.
-
STORMCALLERS - don't forget our oft forgotten final perk "perpetual charge". Sure the nades suck on SC, but one melee kill will get you your nade back, then pop a storm grenade over a few guys, which IMMEDIATELY gives your melee back, repeat. Good luck!

4 AntwortenIt's a nuisance for sure but there are ways to counter it for sure. And it's a necessary evil to counter the good modifiers like Airborne and Small Arms. I know not everyone just has a primary with Grenadier on it but if you happen to then use it. Makes going for those grenade kills a lot easier. Just remember grenade kills might be worth more, but precision kills are always am option that don't have a cool down

7 Antworten+1 didn't enjoy this combo of modifiers either. Artificially increased playtime
-
3 AntwortenWhy do you want it removed? It's not CHALLENGING? then it should be easy to deal with

Any gun w/ grenadier would solve the problem right?

13 AntwortenBungie only listens to streamers like datto that complained CoE was too easy.

1 AntwortenIf it was trickle with head shot bonus I wouldn't care.

Agreed, or at the very least make it so trickle only shows up on precision kill weeks. I can't believe that a top tier company such as Bungie could make such a foolish mistake. But on another note, if you play with the right character combinations and loadouts, much of the BS can be overcome. We could say that it's a contradicting nature this week but we can also create new and inventive ways to deal with these situations. Much more difficult to complete a card in 2 runs, but I think it may be possible with the right players. Luck to all : )

Ran this week's CoE solo just to see what all the fuss was about... usually get 35k casually playing solo... got 14k. What a difference.

I have a couple ideas for what could change with trickle or what could replace it 1) Trickle doesn't increase cooldowns as much and increases ability damage to create a trade off 2) Replace trickle with Chain Reaction: Abilities take longer to recharge but kills with them instantly recharge the other. Grenade kill completes melee cooldown and vise versa. This would create a dynamic where if unsuccessful with your abilities you have to wait longer but if successful you get your abilities way more often than usual or 3) Ya just take it the bleep out it's shit!
-
While I'm not completely opposed to a modifier that increases ability cooldowns, trickle currently is a -blam!-ing bore. If they changed trickle so it slows your ability cooldown but buffed your ability damage that might be understandable but right now it takes out a lot of the dynamic or team based element of strikes. It makes blade dancers worse medics and stealthy ninjas. It makes defenders worse support players. Same for nightstalkers. It's just all round a detriment.

1 AntwortenCoE/PoE as a whole is just incredibly boring. There's nothing scripted. You're in one big room, blowing away AI. BORING.
-
Perpetual charge on a storm caller = only option
-
3 AntwortenWe need bad modifiers to balance it out. And people go "yippee" when they see arc burn and increased primary damage
-
Yes it trickles makes you recharge ten times slower(that may be wrong but I think it's right) and it should at least be taken down to 2 times slower in my opinion
