I get what they were going for with trickle, but the reality is just less interesting gameplay. Buffs (like small arms) are what get folks to adopt different playstyles. Debuffs are just frustrating.

I have a grenade build so it was pretty difficult but we made it to 30,000. I think it's fine honestly.

2 AntwortenI disagree, everyone counts on there grenades because of the power of them so when you can't throw one every 40 seconds then it does make it slightly more challenging. Not to most of us skilled players but everyone has had a moment when they have died when they needed there grenade to get them out of that 'sticky' situation.

I don't mind trickle dur5uing the round. But not turning if off in between is stupid. So much fun waiting for the recharge. NOT.

Lol, the amount of people who don't know the difference between the words 'hard' and 'annoying'. Examples: Farming for 200 planetary materials in Vanilla Destiny was annoying but not hard. It was one of the easiest things to do actually. Not hard at all. But it took a long time... Doing a nightfall in Y1, Omnigul with arc burn, that you would be sent back to orbit upon death of guardian (or fireteam) was hard but not annoying. Lol, unless you're on your 5th run with your fireteam and still can't beat it. Then it's annoying. Playing CoE with trickle on when Grenade kills offer the bonus points is very annoying, but NOT hard. Seriously, if you're not gunning for points then you can beat every boss in under 60 seconds per round with a fireteam, or solo with Black Spindle and it only takes as long as the amount of special ammo you have. No one is saying it's hard.

Coming from a Beta/Y1 player perspective this helps add a challenge to an already easy game. Nah I hate trickle. If I didn't like it in HOW I don't like it now. especially with other modifiers or in this case COE extra bonus point modifier. Had Discipline tier 5 with and a red spectre to decrease grenade cool down kill. Yea by the time I got a grenade most of ad would've been dead. Don't even get me start on warlock sunsinger. Was able to throw 2 grenades in super mode only.

They either need to get rid of it or buff the genadier/army of one perks. I did it on one character...will be skipping the rest. Probably won't get a soulstealers claw with counterbalance anyway...

I like the challenge that trickle brings and find it fun. It requires one to think and play differently. Though for those who don't like tickle, skip the activities that have it.

20 AntwortenIt's so sad that a huge group of you guys are incapable of such simple reading comprehension. OP never said that Trickle was a challenge. He just said it wasn't an enjoyable modifier. And he's not wrong. There's nothing fun about having to wait an eternity for a singular grenade, just to score a handful of points a round in COE (when Grenade kills are the point bonus). It's very do-able, but not challenging. It's tedious - especially with the point reduction if you take too much time.

1 AntwortenHonestly back in the old pre-launch viddocs they talked about making your character build so you could do the nightfalls, I feel Destiny's all about making a build that works for your playstyle. Trickle effectively removes any skill/gear synergy you might have and reduces Destiny to a standard skill based FPS, they removed the RPG aspects from it.
