Siva was leaked by Bungie themselves that Siva was a plague that wiped out the Iron Lords. Well, what happened to it? Bungie also leaked another piece of lore: Siva needs somebody/something to lead it. This DOES answer why Siva up-and-all disappeared (or it was working on its long-waited army and needed to stay away from the Vanguard's sight), but who is controlling it? My answer: Rasputin. WHAT?! Yep. You heard me right. Rasputin. Why do I think this? Because he has created tons of important things that have helped out the Guardians through the ages, such as Sleeper Simulant and Pocket Infinity. Rasputin was counted as the "Golden-Age Hero". Why? Because he had a base that "no alien entity could get in to". Problem, though. Rasputin has been caught up with Omnigul, SABER 2, and the Taken. Not so full-proof, is it? Or is it the fact that he made a treaty with the Fallen to help create an army? I think so. Here is some evidence: the creator of Sleeper Simulant is Rasputin. To finish off the quest, you destroy SABER 2. SABER 2 was found in Rasputin's "full-proof" lair. More evidence: the Guardians get AMBUSHED by Omnigul in Rasputin's lair while going through his data. Omnigul and SABER 2 were, get this, body guards for Rasputin. And, final evidence, in the trailer you hear intensified music when a Guardian walks into a sealed door... the door design was the same unique design as the doors found in the SABER 2 strike... which is in RASPUTIN'S LAIR!!! So, I would love to hear who you all think is going to be controlling Siva. What does the audience think?
