What's inside the Traveler: a jail cell that holds captive all of the dead creatures/people that once praised him. Why do I think so? Because every time you first go to orbit, a dome with perpendicular lines go all around the Traveler like one big jail cell. And, also, you have to wonder just why the dead people/creatures fade into blue light, when they die, before the light particles go upwards just a little, in the direction of the Traveler. It would also explain why the alien forces, who are at war with each other, all team up to try and kill the new praisers of the Traveler, because you are going through the same death that the Traveler did. The reason the Traveler left the other creatures (Vex, Cabal, Hive, Fallen) is because they learned of the deceptive properties of the Traveler, which is why there are so little troops (trust me, civilizations aren't in that little of numbers).
What does everybody else think? (Feel free to read/answer my new post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/210460052?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1)

23 AntwortenThere's only one problem with your theory; None of the races are linked to the traveller, apart from the Fallen. In the lore, the Vex arrived in our timeline through a blunder that Crota created while trying to form his Oversoul, the result being the Vex invading Oryx's Throne World. They were promptly defeated, and escaped the throne world, only to enter our time line. As for the Cabal, they arrived simply to conquer planets, as they are simply conquerors. The Hive are the Darkness' minions, and as a result, they're the mortal enemies of The Traveller, so it's only natural that they'd want to kill us Guardians. The Fallen are a unique case. The Traveller, or as they called it; "The Great Machine" was once on the Fallen's home world, and brought about a sort of Golden Age to their race. The Fallen were once a peaceful, intelligent race who worshipped The Traveller as it provided them with Ether, the substance allowing them to remain alive and strong. However after The Whirlwind (The Fallen's name for The Collapse), The Traveller abandoned the Fallen, and began making it's way to our Solar System. During it's departure, Oryx and his hive spawn attacked the Fallen, and with no Traveller to supply them with Ether, they were inevitably doomed. Seeing the only option to escape, the Fallen left their home world and scattered among the stars, resulting in all of the Fallen houses splitting off from one another. They began following the Traveller's direction, plundering the planets they inhabited for precious Ether, the source which again, kept them alive, this earned them the name "Pirates", as Variks puts it. Through this ordeal, the Fallen modified servitors to turn worldly materials into a form of false ether, which in turn would keep them alive. You see, Dregs, Vandals, Captains, Archons and Kells are all the same race; Eliksni. The reason they look so vastly different is because of the ether supply. All Kells, Archons and Captains receive an increased amount of ether than the Vandals and Dregs, and hence, grow larger and more powerful than their weaker peers. Dregs only have two arms because they've had their other two arms cut off and sealed as a form of punishment by their Kell for failing to do a task imposed on them. Now, back to the subject; The Fallen arrived on Earth as a way to reclaim The Traveller, and as it's hinted at in the grimoire, they arrived sometime during the Golden Age, but remained hidden. They only started their invasion after The Collapse. After this happened, and the Darkness began to creep into our solar system, The Traveller attempted to flee Earth, like it had previously done to the Fallen. However, our AI, Rasputin shot the Traveller down before it could run, causing it to remained wounded above what we now call The Last City. This made the Traveller create Ghosts to help with the survival of itself, and not the survival of the Humans. The Traveller needed an army to defend it, and so took warriors from death and began using them, aka the Guardians, as a way to fight against the Darkness. -- So there you have it, that's the lore on the four races, and the reason as to why your theory is wrong.

Cookies, twinkies, mashed potatoes, asparagus, a popeyes, a lowe's home improvement store, a duck tape factory, an asian sweat shop that produces conterfeit nikes, the most powerful toilet in the galaxy... I don't know, it could have all sorts of things inside of it.
