It doesn't matter whether someone is complaining about a ship (Comitatus) not dropping, a weapon (Hawkmoon) being bugged, or any other one of the multitude of complaints and requests for communication, you guys are ignoring us (whether because you've been told to or because you don't care about us), and that isn't acceptable anymore.
"Rise of Iron" is official, it's coming out, and we are all excited. That's great. Really. Good on ya. But, if you aren't going to talk to us about what's wrong with this game and how (with less than 20% of your staff still actively working on Destiny 1) you intend to fix it, then you quite simply are not doing your jobs.
The time has come. Talk to "us" now, or we have nothing left to talk about. I've been a loyal customer for years and (blah blah blah - nobody cares), but if there's one thing I can't stand, it's someone not respecting me enough to even talk to me about an issue I have with their service, product, etc. Each of us have paid our dues. You owe us that much - respect.
Khan... Out.
EDIT 1: Replaced "Hard Light" with "Hawkmoon". No idea why I said Hard Light. Hawkmoon still has ghost bullets.

236 AntwortenThey are working on the issue affecting how Comitatus drops. Jon Weisnewski (Weapons designer) has explained what player refer to as "Ghost bullets" is players firing Hawkmoon outside of it's effective range. Or firing shots too quickly, which causes inaccuracy due to bloom. I have gathered a lot of feedback from players asking that they would like Hawkmoon and other handcannons changed, and will be sharing that with the weapons team.

Well. Bungie talked to you. It's still ridiculous...
-
1 AntwortenThey do talk to us. Every week there's an update, and occasionally they address specific things on the forum. What do you expect? A response to every thread on the forum?? Come on man! These two have the most thankless job in the industry.
-
6 Antworten"Talk to us wahhhhh!" Cozmo comments they know: 175 replies And you wonder why they don't post on everything they read?
-
2 AntwortenPretty sure if they weren't doing they're job, they wouldn't have said job anymore. Their job is not to come on here all day and have conversations with us. They monitor. They denote. They pass it on up. The reality is that they don't have the ability to fix EVERY issue, especially when working on DLC AND D2. They aren't ignoring us, although I wouldn't blame them for ignoring this horrible community. They're just busy at work. I get your frustration with lack of visibility, but really, did you expect them to come on here and ask us what our problems are and then just go implement the fixes immediately? It's HARD to write code for games like these, and even HARDER to try and figure out which part of the bajillion lines of code is causing the issue and THEN they have write a new code, test it, make sure it fixes the issue without causing any others, and then it can go live... It's not an easy thing to do and people should realize that the product we currently have, while clearly not perfect and in need of some fixes that im sure are being re-worked, is still one of the better games out there. Not gonna act like Bungie doesn't drop the ball just like everyone else, but it happens and the game is never going to please everyone.

I only want to hear about the exotics that got removed from the armory. I just want to know if they're gone forever or if they're being held back until some certain point in time.
-
3 AntwortenI use Hawkmoon almost exclusively and I've never heard of it being bugged. do tell now Mida on the other hand. the amount of times that gun and that gun alone kills through walls is absolutely ridiculous. If you're looking for a bugged gun start your sentence with the word Mida

Bearbeitet von Akron: 8/7/2016 9:03:41 AMI have no clue what Deej does outside of the weekly beat around the bush update and prep for events. Cozmo prefers to hang out on the subreddit, where he used to be a mod, and enjoys it because that community refuses to talk about negative aspects of the game. (seriously, the subreddit is bad. What used to be a place for positive and negative discussion has turned into hey, look at my montage and look at this tier12 gear with shitty perks). With what very little communication they have with community, its hard to see how they are both employed as community managers, let alone full time. Pretty sad they ignore their own forums. It isn't going to change either. Bungie isn't the company they used to be.

Funny how hand cannons' ghost bullets is from people "spamming shots." Yeah, me firing at full fire rate is my fault. It's not like I have time to stop shooting.
-
Hah! Cozmo responded! Now you can't complain anymore
-
1 AntwortenYou got Cozmo on the thread ... That's actually pretty cool of bungie ... Most places don't talk to you or even have a place you can call .. Email .. Most places you can send emails and get letters back ... Bungie has an open forum with all kinds of fires !! This place is crazy they even tolerate ppl trashing their game in their forums so they can learn how to be better .. What more do you want ?! Lol
-
1 AntwortenLiterally all the have to do to stop a large portion of community griping is to add an infusion node to every year 1 weapon and armor piece. That's it.
-
It's like a blizzard in here with all these special snowflakes.

Cosmo responds to a random idea or complaint post: BUNJI SUX!!!1 Wow, way to waste time bro. UN-NERF THORN YOU *****ES. Oh, you can reply to this, but I complained like 30 times about Trials cheaters... YOU **** HEADS RUINED SUNSINGER REEEEEEEE- I'd say Bungie isn't to blame for this one, lads.

Two words... Luke -blam!-ing Smith Ok it was 3 words

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von SMELLtheGIove: 8/5/2016 3:33:38 PMThe thing is that they don't respect these forums, nor should they. There is no actual discussion on these forums. Its just complaning met with parroted attempts at clever insults. The majority of posters on Bungie's forums are basically illiterate. They have no reason to engage here because the people here aren't mentally equipped to handle it. It shouldn't be any surprise why they do all their fan interaction on reddit.
-
They don't deal with complaints anymore. Got sick of people telling them that they should be fired. Don't blame them, I put on a pair of gloves before I come here because of how toxic this community can be.
-
4 AntwortenCan you imagine the time it would take to respond to every complaint that this bitchy group posts. Get real
-
See what happens when one of them replies? I wouldn't talk to much of the "community" either. Why not just wear a hornets' nest for a hat? It has even gotten where the helpful people on the forum won't even post, because they know the negativity is coming.
-
Bearbeitet von vphokie: 8/6/2016 3:14:09 PMI can't blame them for not replying as often on here. The community is full of whining, angry, snowflakes. This place is toxic...people shit all over Bungie, Deej, and Cozmo and expect them to cater to their every little complaint. While I agree there have been plenty of issues with the game, the amount of assholes on here warrants a shitty response from the community managers sometimes. Edit: Read through a lot more of the replies to the OP. It's nice to see a lot of posts from reasonable people who all seem to agree how obnoxious and spoiled the community can be.
-
The reason I think these guys come across as such dicks is because they are also gamers and they seem to reflect this particular player base to the letter. I read these forums at least once a week and can't even tell you how many people come across as assholes. This comment has nothing to do with game mechanics or bugs just the attitude displayed by the developers and this community.

Everybody there are balls deep into D2. Do you really think they give a sh*t about the little things?

24 AntwortenBearbeitet von LxGhostSniperxL: 8/5/2016 2:49:39 PMBungie only responds to nice, non-hurtful threads that have 0% negativity in them. Will that solve player griping? Not at all. Honestly, I would like to know the exact daily activity of Deej and Cozmo as community managers. Like, what do you do all day that you are getting paid to do? I know you do press events and stuff like that, but you are communicating with .0001% of the population of the game when you only respond to pointless threads. Man up. Take a chance. You guys are "managing" the community. So manage it. Respond to as many threads as possible. Roast some losers if they say something uneducated or mean. Communicate with us. Address the griping. Here's an example. The post about bringing Vex Mythoclast to year 3. Just drop a hint. Or flat out say, "We are not bringing up Vex to year 3." What is so hard about that? Deej/Cozmo won't see or respond to this. I respect Bungie and love everything they make. But, I feel like when they say they communicate with their community, they are lying a little bit.
-
4 AntwortenIt really hurt when they took such a giant steaming dump on hand cannons. They already have considerable recoil. If I can manage that recoil to get the crosshairs to line up and pull the trigger with his head in my IRON SIGHTS cross (teeny tiny) map while he struggles to hit me with a frigging SCOPE then I deserve to get two/three headshots for the kill. No question. To add an unknown variable RNG ASPECT to whether my shots actually land at any range is insane.

2 AntwortenMy biggest complaint is the petition i made the make the rep boosters affect patrol and bungie completely ignored it despite getting 500 responses and over 600 signatures
