Fallen invade the city in RoI!
So in today's reveal of Rise of Iron via Game Informer, it showed devs talking with gameplay playing in the back. Really, watch it if you haven't. It looks amazing.
In one of the parts of the video it played this, Fallen on Bannerfall with the motive "Defend Bannerfall".
This has huge implications Lore Wise. The Fallen have never gotten into the city. And now they're on Bannerfall, one of the former Towers in the City. This could be huge.
What are your thoughts?
Edit: On second look, those Fallen don't look like Devils. It just says "Dreg" so it isn't SIVA. Also they are Grey. Unlike anything seen before. Could it be a new house??
Possibilities (Some may have survived the whirlwind):
Rain
Stone
Iron
Some we don't know about yet
Edit 2: Please read my post. I know this is Bannerfall. It says it... IN THE POST. I also know it is abandoned. It is still in the city though (or at least on its boundaries).
Edit 3: In today's reveal of the Khvostov, they showed some more footage. They showed this: http://imgur.com/zkORbUl. It is an Ultra, Iliksis, Light Stalker being killed on Bannerfall. I think that this confirms it is the Devils, as he has a Red Cape. It is move visible in this pic http://imgur.com/OEWQKyN

Personally, I always liked the missions that have enemies in crucible maps. Makes PvE and PvP feel more connected

6 AntwortenBannerfall is on the very outskirts of the wall and the outer area of the City was abandoned and repurposed as reinforcements so they arn't "technically" in the city. Also the grey house might me a rouge faction that worship SIVA [spoiler]Or maby it's the House of Iron and they're what RoI is really about. Illuminati confirmed?[/spoiler]

9 AntwortenI believe it's the house of exile? Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm no grand lore master. But they're the only house we haven't crippled as of yet. And it would make sense for them to push for the city.

The Kell's Guard are also gray. Maybe these fallen are a mediator house like Judgement.

4 Antwortenit's probably gonna be some isolated bullshit mission that happens to take place on a PvP map-- similar to what they did with the Y2 subclass quests. it's kind of obvious that Bungie is running out of space in the 4 planets to have missions in.
