Thorn is already in my locker. DONT MAKE ME WORK FOR IT AGAIN
This practice if taking away weapons we've found and making us work all over for them again is total shit.
Thorn was a NIGHTMARE for me to acquire as i don't play PVP.
If you make me do something like that or anything at all really to get the weapon that's already in my locker I'll just leave this -blam!-ing game in the dust and push everyone I come across to stay away.
NERFING is one thing. A total insult.
But taking stuff that is in our locker, making it useless and having to acquire AGAIN is completely totally a slap in the face

if they do make it a quest, im fine with it, I did the bounty on my hunter with a sniper rifle and a rocket launcher for void. but if the include PVp in it I will be royaly pissed. I don't care if it was included year 1. Enough content is already locked away from those that don't PVp.

1 AntwortenI don't really mind...and no one worked harder than I did for it. I beat that final quest step solo and I was under leveled. Still the most difficult thing I ever did in this game. I am personally more excited about a quest to get it than the actual gun itself.

Just relax and chill, I think I heard somewhere that you will be able to infuse Thorn up to y3 I don't think you would have to go through the trouble of getting Thorn all over again.

Same with all the returning year one class items game informer and bungie are teasing..........grinding for items already in our vaults SUCKS!!!

Yeah, it's BS. Spend time making stupid crap like a gally sparrow, but give out 2 yr old rewards from new quests. "[i]Hey guys, what if we made a new weapon, similar to thorn, but jnstead of poison damage, it has frost damage or something[/i]." "[b]GET OUT! [/b]We're just gonna use thorn again.."

8 AntwortenMy only concern is that they might make it just like the original Thorn quest, where you had to get kills in PVP (not just any kills, void kills) AND dying hinders your progress. This is horrible quest design. PVP is too chaotic and unpredictable to make this kind of quest fair, especially with SBMM ruining everything. If instead, the quest is more time-consuming than average but involves PVE and doesn't touch PVP, like the quest to get No Time To Explain, then I'll gladly go through the trouble to get Thorn.
