How to counter shoulder charge!!!!
As a Hunter, I hate being shoulder charged. So, I made an extensive guide for all of you so you can start giving Strikers a taste of their own medicine. Step 1: Acquire shotgun. Step 2: Equip shotgun. Step 3: Acquire target. Step 4: shoot incoming Striker. Yeah, they don't need a nerf. It's called common sense.

Some people use Universe Remote(UR) against titan lot. Titan can't use shoulder charge get that close if someone use UR.

I agree it's easy to counter a shoulder charge but it takes no skill to use if the enemy doesn't have a shotgun. The aim assist on it needs to be lowered a bit and then it would be perfect.

1 AntwortenFyi, as a warlock: use The Ram with max armor. I usually run this combo on my voidwalker. I've been shoulder charged many of times just to live and face the Titan in the face. Very fun.

Better idea; don't hang around places where it's easy to use cover to approach you. As a hand cannon user, I am constantly near some form of cover for peek shooting, but you have to be aware that when someone charges you near cover, they're coming in with either a shotgun or with shoulders hot. Know when to stand and fight and when to get the -blam!- out of Dodge. For better or worse, shoulder charge is likely to be changed in some way soon. Will it make the game more interesting to see people not using SC as a primary weapon; yes. Will it necessarily be a good thing for the game as a whole; I'm not certain, but I'd tend towards probably not, in general. I'd much rather see a way to dislodge sticky grenades than a SC change, honestly.

I use Bladedancer and Gunslinger. If I'm a Bladedancer I use blink shotgun, if I'm a Gunslinger I'll use better control and Bones of Eao with Last Word or First Curse

Shoulder Charging isn't very helpful against snipers, either. If you are in a CQ map, then you should defend yourself with a mid-range weapon appropriately. If you are on a large open map, then you should play to the strengths of the map and use distance to beat CQ enemies.

I guess we should take snipers and fusions out of the game rather than nerf striker? loll I'm trolling but forreal though shoulder charge is one of the things that keep this game from being an actual competitive game. they will nerf it and if that upsets you so much then you're scrubby and you don't know how bungie works.

15 AntwortenAnd for those that don't like using shottys or special weapons much for that matter? I should play like you? The only thing needed for should charge is that it needs to be put in the skill tree (replacing something in there now) so that it takes a charge. I'm fine with it being used every 30 seconds for those with max strength since it requires a sacrifice of something else - like other classes. No nerfs, nothing close to that. I do agree with you on one part, people need to learn to counter it instead of nerf herding.
