I've always wondered this for a while...
Why is the 1000 Yard Stare such a good sniper? It's by far the most competitive sniper in the game so far but I've always wondered why? The stats make it look so average and mediocre but for some reason something about this sniper just makes it stand out. Noobs can snipe with this. Can someone please comment a good answer? I can't seem to see how the curtains stats allow this weapon to become so powerful. This weapon can out match a Zen Meteor or [u]MAYBE[/u] an Ice Breaker. But why?
[spoiler]Edit 1: Thanks for the tips! I know that aim assistance is good. But what difference does it make with a sniper that has low aim assistance, to a sniper with high aim assistance?[/spoiler]

1 AntwortenI've always wondered by a Striker melee is called "Storm Fist" in the subclass menu, but when you die by it in PvP it's called "Storm Grip".

High aim assist as well as high damage. It's archytepe can shut down most supers with a precision shot, plus at the time it was the only kind of snipers that can res snipe.

Aim assist. It's like REALLY high.

It has a surprisingly high aim assist value, but it has lower base stats than the Longbow/LDR.

It has really high aim assist so it helps you land head shots easily.

I wish I got to experience the good Ole days of sniping with final round LDRs. Trials is a cake walk now compared to that insaneness
