Destiny 2: will we be able to continue our characters?
Or will we need to restart? Or do we not have any information?
I've really grown attached to my characters and hope we get to continue them instead of Destiny 2 being a new game all together.

They better! I'll say it right now; if they don't I won't be playing #2!!! I don't expect everything to transfer but in some way I should be able to use my thousands of hrs of grind into #2.

Since they were totally honest about old gear being relevant, they'll definitely, maybe be honest about carrying our characters forward.

Bearbeitet von CaptxnChaos: 7/28/2016 2:47:53 PMBungie has said that we will be able to continue on with our characters in Destiny 2 multiple times and they've been saying so for a while with no instances of denying it as of yet, granted they also said that HoW would have a raid and they put exotics that they cut out of the game in the trailer for TTK so don't really deal in absolutes when it comes to this game.

Bungie has said they would - but we'll probably have to level up as if we were brand new characters in 2.0.....just a guess.

I'm probably a statistical minority in the extreme, but I'd love it if we could transfer accounts between platforms to continue in Destiny 2. Day one ps4 player but a few months ago a friend bought xbone and Destiny. I decided I'd rather play with him and a few other people I know that bought xbone too, so as of this week I'm making the switch. Thanks to the price drop of the taken king legendary edition the cost is almost the same since I hadn't picked the expansion up on ps4 yet. I know I'll get attached to the new characters I create but it's still hard when I think about all my year 1 stuff on my other account. That would be nice to have across the duration of the life of the series. For all of Destiny's problems, and I'm not at all blind to them, I can honestly say that I've had fun with the game and in the end isn't that why we play?

If they're smart, we will. Worse case scenario is we can only import one character. As of right now, I haven't seen any legit information on Destiny 2 other than the fact that they are making it.

In some way, yes. Bungie confirmed this. Maybe nothing more than your appearance or whatever, but expect something.

I'm actually more fond of the idea of restarting our characters. It will give Bungie the chance to start all over again, make the game the way it's supposed to be. For a near perfect experience that has everything we hoped for in Destiny, I will gladly restart my characters.
