POLL: Shoulder Charge needs to use the melee cool down! Agree?
Shoulder Charge needs to use your melee cool down! No class should have an unlimited one hit auto tracking melee. Giving it a cool down would balance that class back out again! What does everyone else think?

It's been almost 2 years with shoulder charge not using a melee charge. Get used to it and stop whining.

Does anybody else recall when Titan was made fun of for having two awful PvP classes in vanilla Destiny? I sure do. I never thought I'd see the day when Striker would be the class on the chop block.

6 AntwortenSure, just as soon as Bladedancers stays on the ground and you can jump over him. I had a Bladedancer last night coming at me and I triple jump backwards and at the height of my jump he followed me into the air and killed me. He did not jump to get me, he just kept swinging. Oh, and by the way, Blinkstrike is STILL broken. Guy stabbed me last night directly in front of me and it registered as a Blinkstrike. Neither one of these I'm calling for a nerf. As a matter of fact the need to return Throwing knives and Tripmines back to where thery were. Please people, STOP CALLING FOR NERFS. It's what's ruining this game.

Things I can't do while building my Shoulder Charge: Can't shoot Can't stop moving forward Can't Cap a zone Can't pick up most Special/Heavy boxes Can't hardscope Can't do pretty much anything [i][b]except[/b][/i]Shoulder Charge If someone is spamming SC, let them. When do it, it's all they can do. They're not shooting you which makes them easy pickings.

You may not know this but it's on a timer. You have to use it within like 8 seconds of starting your sprint otherwise it stops. I use it but mostly just to get around quicker and using it as a perimeter scan

I normally see these posts and just think people need to quit whining and just play the game, but I think there could be an interesting idea here. Replace storm fist with shoulder charge. The storm fist perks could remain the same. Take away the 3 second run time requirement, but also make it so shoulder charge only activates from directly in front. This would essentially make it the equivalent of backstabbing with blink strike. The shoulder charge node could be replaced with whatever. [spoiler]Something tells me this will cause a lot of salt.[/spoiler]

It's not necessarily one hit. I had a couple Titans and a Warlock my shoulder charge in IB last night. I presume they were running max armor, but none of then had an overshield that I could see. Could have been lag, but it happened in three different lobbies.

It'll get nerfed. Despite the majority of the forums not wanting it nerfed, it creates "annoying engagements" and will fall as SS did. Striker will be worse then defender then people will ccompin about suppression nades, oh wait, they are already

Can u shoulder charge multiple times in quick succession? No. Why is that? Because it has an inherent cool down. You already have to sprint for a couple seconds just to perform a shoulder charge. I'll never understand why it became a problem after the april update. Unless caught by surprise, it isn't too hard to kill a charging titan.
