I wouldn't say Tripmines are useless now, but it feels so much weaker and less consistent. The other Gunslinger grenade options aren't exactly stellar either...
I think Bungie may have gone too far. They gave it two nerfs when it really should have gotten only one. If you could rebuff Tripmines, how would you do it?
-
It can stick for a OHK, but only if you hit the head. If you hit any other part of the guardian, it acts exactly like it does now.
-
Give me the stickyness back.....I still out of habbit throw them at people, they bounce off the person and harmlessly explode.

Just the damage. It's really odd that if they wanted people using tripmines "as intended" as traps, why did they make said trap not kill anything. I do pretty well with them even now. I may not be able to stick them to guardians in firefights, but you better not be standing near a wall. I can still stick that damn thing to the wall beside or behind you and finish the firefight with fireworks. The damage reduction was puzzling tho. I can live with using it as a trap, but I honestly think bungie just reduced the damage to try to get people to pick other grenades. (They mentioned that people were never picking the other nodes in the subclasses). Even after the fact, tripmines are still the better gunslinger grenade. Incendiaries have too much bounce and cooktime to be useful, even in PVE. And they said they buffed swarm grenades damage. I can't tell. Tried them out with zero kills. Their effectiveness is limited to chucking them on the floor before someone comes in a room and either deterring them, or getting them weak for a primary kill. OHK seems kinda extreme, but they aren't really an area of affect grenade like Lightning grenades, they got one blast. And they can't stick to anyone for more damage. The main way to kill with them is to finish firefights or weaken an enemy first then finish them. Very rarely you'll kill a low armor guardian in one shot. And that actually takes timing because the red light is a dead giveaway. I think a pulsing sound might be better, not as obvious, but not unnoticeable. There has to be SOME way of seeing them, otherwise they'd be abused and be all over the damn floor. Jesus, I type too much.

Trip mine grenades suck now. They are weak and do not stick. Hunter grenades in general are shitty. They should have only taken away the sticky and not decreased the damage output. I've thrown swarm grenades from the gunslinger class at people and they just stand there and laugh as it fails miserably at doing any damage.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von CryogenicEmbryo: 7/24/2016 3:41:53 AMLighting grenades stick to ppl try using them. It wont curve and home in on them like tripmines of old but if you throw it at someone dead on they will die in one hit.
-
Just revert the changes.
-
The red light isn't as big and bright and it doesn't pulse as much, or just take it away.
-
3 AntwortenI'd like to remove the delay of when you walk in front of a tripmine to when it goes off. If I see a tripmine now, I'll just sprint past knowing that it will go off after I'm past it
-
Revert it to before the paych
-
Damage buff just give me that and id be happy
-
i'd do either but i'd buff it to doing 210 damage instead so it's a kill if you get a clean hit with it on the wall
-
Insta kill if you stick. There is a grenade on you, why wouldn't it Insta kill? Plus it was super satisfying to stick someone with them, always rewarded good aim.
-
I just miss sticking people.. let me turn you into a unicorn!
-
1 AntwortenIncrease detonation time n remove red light it's suppose to be a trap a Christmas tree
-
I would give dmg back and make the tripmine stick again.

4 AntwortenTripmines are fine.
Pro tip: try using your guns. Grenades shouldn't ohk
-
Neither. They take me to a whisper of health and I hope I don't stub my toe and die - let alone a shotty or any bullet should graze me!
-
2 AntwortenLess noticeable.
-
Neither, they're fine
-
..maybe I'd like my tripmines actually do what they used to instead of trying out for Cirque Du Soleil....... (They spin in circles and don't stick to enemies and enemies that would normal die from them don't)
-
4 AntwortenRestore damage. Add in damage fall off. Boom. Fixed.
-
2 AntwortenIts a mine that explodes from its base. Sticking is irrelevant it should hit and blow up The damage decreased was stupid and they didn't buff swarms enough for them to be relevant
-
3 AntwortenBoth, if you can hit someone directly, YOU deserve the kill. If someone walks into a massive, flashing red laser, THEY deserve to die.
-
10% damage decrease.
