Anyone else think they need just a slight buff to compete with higher archetype? Opinions please.
Keep this bumped too. I love my Nirwen's Mercy but it doesn't kill fast enough unless at range.

Imo it's the high rof ones that need a Nerf. High rof=4 bursts Med rof=3 bursts Low rof=2 bursts That's how they should be balanced.

Whatever archetype red death is needs a buff. Nirwens is serviceable imo.

Has Counterbalance with glass half full and perks which boost range and stability at the cost of reload speed (which is no loss really, just use pulse reload gauntlets). The number of times I have shredded a long range scout user with this pulse is crazy, heck it wrecks snipers too

Things that need to happen - Higger damage/ Lower RoF so Lowest RoF Hand cannons consistently 2 tap -Same for lowest RoF pulses -More base stability for highest RoF Autos and Pulses, so counterbalance is not nessicary, but steepen damage falloff to compensate That, imo, would bring a bit more balance.

Why use a nirwens mercy which can kill in 3 head shots when a hawksaw can also kill in 3 head shots but do it a lot faster. And yeah, you could say that the slower pulses are more effective at range but when you have rolls like the vendor hawksaw has, the higher ROF pulses can out gun you at pretty much any distance. Personally I would like to see low ROF pulses kill in 2 bursts but with the same TTK as the higher ROF pulses, that way they wouldn't be OP but would still be a viable choice.

I got a nirwens with counter balance and glass half full and I've been doing just fine so far

Slowest can be a two burst kill, so one and a half burst kill will be too op.

You are using NM correctly, play at range it dominates. IMO if they do buff the damage per bullet it will reset the meta back to pre April update.

Geez how many self bumps did you do lol. Anyways, they don't need a damage buff. The ttk is spot on. All they need is a slight range and stability boost to turn them more into lasers. That way they can compete more easily against hawksaw etc.

9 AntwortenNo, the only balancing left is to successfully optimize all guns at their intended ranges, buffing will only make guns OP out of their respective ranges.
