Who is has more power, out of the three sisters? Xivu-Arath, Savathûn or Oryx?
In my opinion its Xivu-arath.
-
Oryx has more power because he/she took the more powerful worm and I think he killed a worm God
-
Oryx. He had the sword logic of akka and gained taken power. As far as I'm aware neither of his sisters did the same thing. (Not even sure they could.)
-
Well, if Oryx killed both Savathûn and Xivu-Arath then, by the Sword Logic, should be stronger

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von OldboyVicious: 7/20/2016 5:53:29 PMEDIT: The original post has been edited. In the original post, there was a question asked: "Are guardians committing genocide?" the following is my answer on why I think guardians are not committing genocide. END EDIT Genocide, is the killing off of a particular group which shares the same genes. Gene= genome cide=kill. Genocide. So wiping out an entire nation is not genocide. Destroying an entire house or nation may not be great, but to destroy an army of aliens who are bound together in the common goal of your destruction is not evil, it's survival. The fact that Variks is allowed to remain alive in the tower, and that there are probably other Fallen who scavenge elsewhere in space who's destruction we do not actively seek, proves that as guardians, we are not committing genocide. Rather, we are killing those who would wish our destriction. To answer the question of genocide, and whether that is wrong, it depends. If there were an entire species who shared the goal of your destruction, and you were to destroy that species because of that goal, and not destroy them based on their species, then I would not consider that wrong. I guess a good example for that would be a virus. If a virus spread that threatened the end of humanity, then to destroy that virus could technically be considered genocide, depending on how you interpret the classification of a virus as a living organism. However, if some Fallen wish to attack Earth and eliminate himanity, and in response, you were to kill all Fallen merely because of the beliefs of those few, that could be wrong. If you were to destroy an entire species merely because it was another species, and based your choice to destroy them on no other factors besides their race or species, especially if that species is sentient, then in my opinion that would be evil. So by definition, I do not believe that guardians commit genocide. There are very few exceptions in the world of Destiny where we encounter alien races who do not instantly attack us on sight, even if we are merely on patrol, riding by on a sparrow. This indicates that even if we were to not attack, we would still be attacked. Seeing how there are some few areas of the game in which we do not kill some members of alien races, I have to say that by definition, Guardians do not commit genocide.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von TrolleyProblem: 7/20/2016 6:23:06 AMOryx by default. They started as xi ro, sathona, and aurash. Then, with help from the worm gods, they went through symbiosis; becoming xivu arath, Savathūn, and auryx. However, auryx wished for more power. And so, it defeated Xivu. Savathūn was counting on the battle to sway that way. However she did not anticipate auryx gaining so much power just from beating xivu. And so auryx defeated both of his/her sisters. Allowing it to become Oryx. Later on, he then temporarily killed akka. Thus giving him the tablets of ruin. By sword logic; oryx has bested both his siblings, and one of the worm gods. Would that not make him the most powerful? Though power is not the only attribute abominations such as the hive gods have. Savathūn is the most cunning. Let us not forget she has also been experimenting and tampering with the vex, and I believe even quria since Crota tearing a wound in reality. She has also shown quite a hunger to reach the pinnacle of sword logic as of recent. Then there are the sisters. Ir anūk is the most intelligent of them all. Even more than Savathūn. And halak is believed to be just as strong as xivu arath. Both of the sisters are quite the intriguing and formidable adversaries. They might have even over thrown oryx had he not kept them on such short leashes. Let us not forget they fabricated the oversoul, and are responsible for many many other hive weapons of mass destruction. Even some we guardians have taken into our arsenal. They could easily weave new fates into existence, and unravel our very quidity . Then there is Nokris. Oryx's first born. We know nothing of him. That only makes him all the more detrimental. Between the original three; oryx was greatest in power. But power alone was obviously not enough.

4 AntwortenOkay buttercup we'll bite. What happened that made you delete your post.

1 AntwortenJesus christ, all these posts that are deleted by OPs need to stop. It's frustrating that whenever an OP is proven wrong/called out they delete so no one else can see. why.

15 AntwortenNo. The intent between both sides are different. The Hive wish to kill everything so they can be the last ones left. The Guardians kill anything that attacks us or the City. Now if they enemy races left us alone, we'd leave them alone. That's the difference.

1 AntwortenDon't think the traveler will leave. It's one of rasputins protocols that if the traveler were to leave, rasputin would launch a massive attack against it, destroying the traveler in the process. I watched a Youtube video about the lore of rasputin

17 AntwortenBearbeitet von Peaches: 7/19/2016 10:47:04 PMI personally think you have a point. I still despise the Traveler though. And before anyone says "But the Traveler gave you your powers." That may be so but there are other ways to obtain power, the enemy races are proof of that.
