KD doesn't matter imo, it just means you've killed a lot of blueberries. Take popular twitch streamers when they're doing sweats, they're good players but because they're going against people of their skill level it's more of a challenge which means lower KD unlike when you play against randoms and pub stomp.

I agree with you, K/D doesnt matter. But you said that kd doesnt matter and then continued referencing popular streamers going against their skill level and destinys pvp is SBMM?
-
What do you mean?
-
That you kinda killed your own argument. SBMM means were matched with players with similar skill. That means that K/D does matter.
-
they use more data than just KD to determine "skill" when matchmaking. everyone has a combat rating and thats part of it too. Plus amount of time played, etc.
-
And when I meant popular streamers going against eachother I meant in sweats not by luck getting match made together
-
The only thing SBMM about it is the lag, other than that most matches in are terribly unbalanced.
-
Well yeah, I get 2-4 matches were im god-like and then game decides that im good enough to carry a team of randoms that doesnt know what point of the gun you shoot at against some mlg team. But the lag is because Destinys player base is decreasing and when the game prioritizes match criteria to skill, it dumps connection.
