Oh where to start....
1) try something other than being a hard scoping tard. Ie use another weapon there tons of em.
2) must not have been that great of a sniper

Dude I don't hard scope, I use a sniper as 'intended'.

Sometimes, others it's just a counter to other snipers. I use Shotguns quite a lot too, I just prefer to not be that guy who looks like he has no skill and uses a shotgun.
