Infusion is broken
For some reason, whenever I go to infuse a primary weapon, it will not recognise that something has a higher light than it. So I am unable to infuse any of my weapons because they won't recognise the gear that is higher than them.

Click your right analog stick to unlock the item first. All locked items have a small lock icon. Unlock item to use it for infusion. Good luck.
