My psn account has been banned as a result of your complaint. F#ck you very much. May your arse be forever itchy and your arms too short to reach it.
TL, DR: - had a silly (but what i thought was innofensive) GT for ten years, someone reported it now lost all my data.
-Update from Sony,
"Thanks for your email.
Unfortunately all saved game data is linked to your online ID and will not be compatible with another account.
I fully appreciate your frustrations following the ban of your account, particularly with regards to to the time spent on certain titles however there will be no further assistance we will be able to offer you in this matter.
I am sorry there is no more I can do however if you have any other questions in the future, feel free to drop us a line."
Just wanted to add, I'm from Scotland. Where I come from fook is not deemed as an insulting or abusive term. It's actually used instead of the f-bomb in an almost comical way. This is what my GT was supposed to be, a little bit cheeky, a little bit funny. Some fair points have been raised below about how some parents etc would not like their kids seeing said GT and tbh I can't argue with that. I've been known as "fook" for ten years or so on psn and never had any issue until now but there you go. Suppose it just takes that one time. To the people who are saying I must be a total arse to be banned I can assure you this is not the case. I always strive to be helpful and considerate when gaming. I'd like to think anyone who has met me online would agree. During raids etc if I was in a group and someone needed help I'd gladly step up and explain the mechanics. If someone was getting a hard time in a group I'd be the first to back them up. I believe you do good things and good things happen. Feeling somewhat jaded about that mindset now mind you. Anyway, what's done is done. Who_the_fook is no more so time for a new GT and destiny grind. I'm not bitter about it, just wish I'd had the opportunity to change my GT without losing all my data. In perspective it's a first world problem and not anything that will affect anyone apart from myself so no big deal in the grand scheme of things.

-
Bearbeitet von RedShift: 7/10/2016 11:23:56 AMThe majority of people get triggered these days. But I'm surprised PSN doesn't force you to change username, similar to how xbl works. If it works like that on xbl, seeing as I've never had that happen for me.

1 AntwortenYour post actually made me feel bad. I was going to be prick, but I can't anymore, man.
I mean, I could, but won't ;)
-
Sorry. You could have done something about it, but you believed voting works
-
Oh my god, you offended someone! My condolences go out to your victims. Do you happen to know what hospital they are in? Oh wait, hang on. Of course they aren't in hospital, because nobody ever died from being -blam!-ing offended! This is just another example of how free speech and political correctness cannot co exist.
-
1 AntwortenJust call Sony, they might just unban you. But there's a large chance that they give you a new PSN name even if you don't like that name.
-
I had a slightly similar case. I managed to call psn and after 30 minutes of hold I talked to them and I got the psn name changed. Whomever reported RAGE-HOMO is an idiot as I've had that account name for 6-7 years of gaming and no bans at all till just a year ago.
-
wait, PSN just BANS your account entirely? wow, XBL only forces you to change your GT (at no cost too! this was actually a method of changing your name for free) XBL mustard race! :p

1 AntwortenScottish guardians are the best
-
1 AntwortenThat was most likely done by one of the people who needs a "safe space" and your gamer tag "triggered" them.

I love the scots
-
-blam!-ing worthless. Those people are sad hapless individuals who will never know true satisfaction.
-
Shouldnt have risked it

1 AntwortenI fell your pain, I lost my PSN ID 5 years ago for the same reason. RiP ICY_Wiener
-
2 AntwortenDid you check your email? I thought you were given a chance to change it if it got banned.
-
😂😂 How ridiculous. Fook isn't even actually a word is it? How can they ban you for a made up word? 🤔
-
1 AntwortenCheer yourself up, walk 500 miles then 500 more down the local budgins grab yourself 10 bottles of bucky and get absolutely fooked
-
This wouldn't have happened if you played on an ouya.
-
They won't ban it no matter how many times its reported if it checks out with the terms and conditions concerning usernames. Obviously it didn't :P There's a reason they tell you in bold, at the top of them, to read the terms and conditions or EULA at some point in the creation of an account; or say by doing x action you agree to this EULA/ these terms and conditions, then link to the previously mentioned rules. Not about to say i did, hell most don't, but they have a lot of lines that take some going out your way/ intent to cross.

Probably some overprotective mom who somehow saw your GT and forced her kid to report you, the mom off course being naive as hell thinking her son doest know curse words yet.
