Why don't Bungie just finally rid of SBMM. When are they going to understand that no one likes it? Also, stop testing new matchmaking settings in Control!

I tested it yesterday. Sbmm is still overwhelmingly in force LAG Wait times are similar Seems nothing has been fixed Then, I went on my other account where I maintain a very low kd on purpose. (Offset good games by suiciding) Averaging about 35 kills a game still and encounter people who would rather give me a hug than shoot me Absolutely nothing has changed. If people weren't such sheep and [i]actually[/i] stopped "throwing money at their screens" you clowns would've been sacked months ago. But I suppose while you're still making money for Activision, they couldn't give a shit.

Congratulations on your worst effort to date. When are you going to realize the entire Crucible development team should be fired? The game is losing more players every month because of these horrible adjustments.

I'm a 1.05 KD Crucible Player. I was horrible for long time (.79 6 months ago) and finally broke through to positive, so my last 6 month KD is significantly better. However, this last round of tweaks in Control is crazy. So hardcore. I'm all for being challenged, but if I can't go into regular crucible and just chill and enjoy it, what's the point. I expect and want hardcore in IB or Trials, but wow. You are going to lose a lot of casuals Bungie with these settings.

Played about 10-15 Control matches solo after the new settings went live. For reference I am in the Top 1%, hence these settings affect me most. Overall, MATCHMAKING TIMES felt slightly improved - maybe something like 30-60 seconds shorter than before. But what has *not* changed - and what is most important to the community than matchmaking times - is TEAM BALANCE. Just see my screenshot in the link. As a top 1% player, these types of post-game results happen way too frequently where I am placed into a team consisting of horribly under-skilled players who drag me down with them. In this particular example, I had 2 decent teammates while the other 3 dragged us all down to hell with their miserable play skills. There is nothing more frustrating than racking up 30+ kills with a 2+ K/D while defending/capturing several points, while the bottom half of my team not only go negative, but go negative by a HUGE margin, unable to even get a 0.5 K/D. I have 5 TIMES the points of the 4th/5th players and 7 TIMES the points of the bottom 6th player. The enemy team is nicely balanced with mostly everyone racking up around 3000 points. These horrible players always seem to get put on my team and literally feed the opponents with kills, points, super/grenade energy which leads to even more farming and making it difficult for people like me to carry the entire team to victory., especially now that TTK has been reduced substantially with all the nerfed weapons (Thorn/TLW) and sub-classes. These players can't defend control points, they flip spawns, they run around doing nothing when heavy ammo is up, they don't attack captured points to distract and spread out the enemies - it's just annoying when I'm the only one running my ass off around the map trying as best as I can to win the game (my stats clearly show how involved/effective I was during the match) and yet all of it gets washed down the toilet drain because of the horrible, unbalanced TEAM BALANCE with your SBMM. Excuse my language but it's just -blam!-ING FRUSTRATING! If you're going to continue with SBMM, then BALANCE OUT the freaking teams and stop nerfing all the powerful weapons like Thorn/TLW while lowering TTK so I can take on 3-4 enemies at once on my own. I really couldn't care less about matchmaking times as long you as you balance out the teams. Right now (and even with all these paperclip changes) the Crucible is such a horrible, boring and frustrating experience for top players and perhaps those on the bottom side of the spectrum as well.

I haven't played; but I will say this: Destiny, as a 10 year long gaming series, NEEDS Dedicated Servers. Games smaller than this have [i]some[/i] Dedicated Servers and those games are performing better for that reason. It's not only wanted, but at this next stage, it's needed.
