When using fatebringer and vision of counfluence was the best for strikes, night falls, and raids. That feeling after beating a certain boss and waiting to get a drop instead of running up to engrams (not to say engrams are fun to run up to) but just looking at the left side of the screen to see the drops always had me excited to get that one weapon or body armor. Gosh I miss those days

Yep, I actually remember all the raid guns because they were my endgame, King's Fall guns however, I couldn't name them all, they were infusion fuel.
-
I honestly haven't noticed much difference tbh.
-
Bump I want my fatebringer and Voc and fang back
-
It made sense when night falls were harder.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say everyone misses elemental primaries. Besides the burns, they looked cool and had awesome perks.
-
Still never got a fatebringer, guess I gotta settle with Imago Loop for now
-
Looking forward for the weekly reset to try to get the exact raid primary weapon you wanted was more fun than this raid, I use my hung jury over this raid primary because they are not worth it

Everyone

1 AntwortenThey were more fun to try and get than the Kings fall primaries, that's for sure.
-
1 AntwortenEveryone does, anyone who disagrees is actually one of Luke Smith's robotroll accounts.

I miss just using the y1 weapons like that. I wish they'd let us infuse everything up to par. If I want to make a green a 335 I should be able to.

3 AntwortenI don't understand why people say burns made it so much easier. This game isn't hard to begin with. Burns on primary end game weapons made them more interesting and fun. Plus it brought diversity to weapon choice because you'd change to the burn that fit the activity you were doing. They were so awesome, i hope they come back

5 AntwortenI can actually think of several ways it could be reinstated. (1) Allow the player to get burns on certain currently neglected exotic guns. Zhalo covers arc, but relatively few players seem to use Boolean or Monte Carlo. Maybe a void burn on Boolean and solar on Monte would make them more popular. (2) Put burns on the class-exclusive exotics. I sharded my Fabian Strategy in disgust, but might be motivated to bring it back of it had solar burn on it. And putting void on Ace of Spades... it'd be like having my old Word of Crota again. (3) Bring back a couple of the old guns as exotics. Say Vision of Confluence for Solar and Word of Crota for Void. With Zhalo, you would have three very different guns with different rates of fire and damage levels.

2 AntwortenLol I'm pretty sure there not called burns. It's just elemental damage. Ex. Zhalo is called arc damage. Burns r only for significantly increasing elemental damage. That's just what I think tho.

2 AntwortenYeah, it was cool, loved Arc Burn, cause..
Thunder Thunder Thunderlooooooord
people will say that they were forced to use them for burns in year one when they made the choice themselves. they will say it minimized their weapon use of other weapons. in the end it was their choice what weapons they used. yes during night falls I used them mainly on the boss, used anything else on the mobs. I would like them back to add more variety to my weapons usage. all I use is a scout rifle now.

They need to add more modifiers to strikes like more damage from certain weapon types like auto rifles or shot guns. That should mitigate the lack of elemental primaries

The raid has zero reward attached to it, the only reason to play the pve in destiny anymore is if you enjoy it. Not saying your wrong if you do, but doing the same stuff over and over is boring to me. If the game went back to having real guns as rewards maybe..

I do miss elemental primaries. Wish you could infuse elemental damage into all weapons, with the exception of a few (Exotic swords, Dragons Breath), just like chroma.

I miss having the burn weapons a lot. They just made doing nightfall's and heroic strikes a whole lot easier. I'm not saying its impossible to bust through an enemy's shield now, it just take to long and so much ammo . To me, that was half of the reason to do a hard raid. Hopefully Bungie will rethink the idea and add them back to the possible weapon drops in Destiny 2. I think its to late for them to add the weapons back in now. Also to be quite honest, I don't see the reasoning of removing burn primaries in the first place. Its not like that they gave people an advantage over others in the crucible.

Nope not me.
