When using fatebringer and vision of counfluence was the best for strikes, night falls, and raids. That feeling after beating a certain boss and waiting to get a drop instead of running up to engrams (not to say engrams are fun to run up to) but just looking at the left side of the screen to see the drops always had me excited to get that one weapon or body armor. Gosh I miss those days

-blam!- I just want my fatebringer back

I miss the for nostalgic reasons. I kind of love that I've done the raid with mida, pdx 45, eyesluna, no land beyond, auto ar, That's more weapons that I used in year one, because all I used in y1 was. Fate, blackhammer and gally. Good diversity there
-
If they added burns to every weapon, it would add a lot of diversity! The raid weapons were op, but not (just) because of the burn, but because they were perfect weapons. Personally I'd be more happy to grind if there were burns on primaries.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Smith5084: 7/10/2016 10:05:53 PMAll weapons should be elemental, but using elemental weapons against shielded enemies of a different burn should register as "immune", and no matter how many times you shoot them, the shield will not go down... Fireteams would have to strategically select load outs for the entire team, and it wouldn't make any sense for two people on the same three man fireteam to use the exact same load out... There... I just solved the biggest problem with elemental primaries...
-
Instead of just having specific primary guns with burns, make all primary guns have a burn, but make it random.
-
After playing the strikes with arc burns and supercell and seeing how easy that makes the game I completely understand them taking out primary burns. It remove so much of the challenge out of the hat portion of the game.

Bearbeitet von later: 7/10/2016 7:13:55 PMSeriously! How stupid is it to just leave us zhalo supercell and nothing else. It's like they gave us zhalo just to rub our noses in it. I like the idea of getting single use materials that would apply a burn to any legendary/exotic primary. Kind of like how chroma works but for burns

1 AntwortenRIP Fatebringer. You and I struck fear into the Darkness.

I've been grinding strikes this week (in hopes of some of the shaders I don't have from vanguard strikes) and it's been great. I really miss the days of primary elements and burn. I am hoping that they bring it back in RoI.

Make all weapons elemental
-
elemental shields people its gonna be annoying but think this if one has a elemental shield they cancel the elemental effect of the gun reducing the damage but the other will deal normal damage and non-elemental shields just has more capcity to tank hits but charge slower then the avg shield if they can make the elemental mechanic work for pve it can work for pvp now
-
8 AntwortenNope, the reason they removed them was because there was no reason to use anything else in PvE. Elemental primaries kill gun diversity in PvE and using anything else is just a disadvantage
-
i just miss having fun in destiny full stop.Everything just feels like a chore now thats why its bye bye ROI bring back the fun fk the nerfs and the twitch whores t6hat everything is catered to
-
i'm sure that a lot of people miss the elements being on the primary weapons because that's where a lot of the weapons differences came into the game was the elements on the primary weapons but you cant get bungie to change that because more than likely bungie will never change the weapon element primaries back to the way that it was before year 2 of destiny and that is something that everyone is going to have to deal with if they like it or not.
-
5 AntwortenElemental primaries killed weapon diversity, I'm happy they changed the system. It's not perfect now as they could of introduced an item drop that lets you infuse an "elemental core" into a weapon but still it's better than the alternative.
-
5 AntwortenNo, since it reduced the variety of weapons in Primary's used in PvE. It's better like this.
-
Why not give burns to all guns?
-
Bearbeitet von Stealthy: 7/9/2016 8:46:00 PMI miss year 1 so much. Not the burns, they could take them away. But the loot system. Farming materials on planets. Getting exotic drops. Not having everything from the beginning. The action in pvp. The might of primary weapons. The game had purpose those days. These are sad times.

I miss Thorn

5 AntwortenAll y1 people miss this

I really only used the elemental primaries when the corresponding burns showed up. Outside of that, I felt I had an armory that surpassed the raid weapons in their entirety. Since the burn nerfs, I have even less reason to use them (except of course when its arc burn with small arms, that was just too funny) and I don't really find myself wishing for their return since I don't need them.

Bearbeitet von JustaaCasual: 7/9/2016 10:13:33 PMElements primaries were fun to use and unique. That being said. They made PvE activities too easy. Maybe they were needed since PvE was a lot harder in year one. But they were the ONLY choice to use in PvE. There was no reason not to use an elemental primary in PvE. Should they return? In a way, elements primaries should return, but not the way they were in year one. We should be able to get a material that can be added to a weapon that applied a burn to it. Different materials for different burn If you dismantle a weapons with a burn applied to get the material back. This will allow players to have their precious primary burns but still allow for diversity among weapons.
-
4 AntwortenI miss the days of thorn, i really do. Not everyone in the entire destiny world used it like they do Mida now.
-
1 AntwortenI do. Like I thought it allowed more diversity in the secondary and heavy choices. Cause when I had my vision of confluence I didn't have to worry about equipping anymore solar weapons and I could use other weapons of my preference with different burns. Then I could have 3 of each kind of burn now, two is the only option and its annoying me to buggary
