Why throwing knife should not 1 shot! (If Bungie buffs Throwing Knife)
I have 2 reasons why It should not.
1. It's a melee. (DUH)
No other melee 1 shots so why should the Throwing Knife 1 shot? What makes the Throwing Knife so special? From other melees?
2. It would not be fair.
Like i said no other Subclass/Melee can 1 shot. So the Titans and Warlocks are not going to be happy. And there would be a LOT of talk about balance and the community would be in a mess.
"DISCLAIMER" This is NOT a hate post. I'm not trying to spread hate to anything or anyone. So please no hate..

Bearbeitet von illestdood: 7/6/2016 7:55:08 PMI mostly use a Gunslinger in the crucibles while playing a hunter, even after the nerfs that June brought. But, I have always been fine with how throwing Knives have preformed, though I thought it was a better and more equal to other charged melee attacks that the other subclasses have before the June update. It wasn't a ohk before June, even on low armor guardians, but it brought most character builds to about 3/4 health damage, which now it takes a full health guardian to about maybe 5/8 health damage, which still most melee charge attacks on other subclasses still do about 3/4 health damage. I just don't think the nerf wasn't necessary on the Throwing knives, but I still have adjusted to the change. I have and will continue to use the gunslinger the most out the hunters subclasses. Also, on three not of you statement about no other subclass/melee can ohk.... The titan shoulder charge is a melee attack and it ohk's (even without using a charged attack) even while some opponents are in a super and you hit them it'll ohk. Although, I do love using shoulder charge, I thought I'd point that out.

4 AntwortenThe community is already a mess. There's already way too much talk about "balance", in fact there almost always has been. I don't see what would be different about that in comparison to the state that the community is in already. People will still always be unhappy and ready to complain either way.

So " NO other class has 1 shot melee " is bulls***. If you can headshot with throwing knife it should be 1 shot. To me hunters get put aside while titans and warlocks thrive. Bump if ur a true hunter 4 life.

Never done it or had it done to me I think a head shot from a hc and throwing knife combo was fine

No it cant be 1 shot. It has a perk for instant cooldown for a precision kill. And no one wants a melee with basocally infinite charge. Wait a second...

Bungie will now nerf it. I can see it now........ YouTube Divas all gather at the princess ball and discuss what color is the new pink. Meanwhile Tweenagers and those that follow blindly await the new decision. Bungie catches word and decides to show great leadership skills. In a glorious move to make the classes happy Warlocks will now shoulder charge. Good Job Bunco. You're brilliance is undeniable. *Yes, I posted it again* Lol

As a hunter, fair enough. It takes some aim to hit a headshot however, having a one shot headshot recharging ability at close/medium range would be OP.
