Thanks to all of you for your help I will try all of the ways of farming, etc that you suggested. I don't think I need any more so I guess you could say this topic is "closed" or something. Thanks again

The whole forum was filled with people farming the NightFall for GoM since there is a much greater chance of drops during NightFall. Anyway next time it is the NightFall you need 3 hunters. 2 with tethers. When the door opens run into the area where she first appears. First tether the column on the left. I used Zhalo to get her shield down after she was tethered. Celestial NightHawk golden guns her then Raze lighter her. Throw grenades and use Raze Lighters, fusion rifle, machine guns. Five seconds after the first tether the second tether is set on the rocks/concrete on the ground next to her to get her again and the thralls. The tethers create orbs for everyone. Do not run halfway up the hill or you will lose save point. After everyone picks up orbs(gets their supers up), gets engrams/ammo let the Ogre/Wizards kill you and run it again. When you get your XBox1 you can do it with us. Make sure do not overload the postmaster. Have your glimmer below 15K or you will max it out.

4 AntwortenNobody cares For following reasons 1. Xbox360 2. 20 times? Please 3. Name Besides the perk drops are not that good most of the time I got lucky with third eye, headseeker, and some stability upgrades along some good scopes. But srsly get a next gen and stop complaining its probably gonna get nerfhammered as evry gun has been at some point thats just destiny for ya. Guns get nerfed and buffed and changed all the time. Its annoying but sometimes its for the better?(thorn, last word, vex) Seen it all since game came out.

You're contemplating quitting because a gun that drops with mediocre rolls 80%of the time is eluding you? Bungie's probably going to nerf it anyways due to it's spike in popularity.. Don't waste your time

2 AntwortenConsider using a character that has not yet done weekly heroic strikes. Reload until you get Omniginch. It could be total bullshit but I found it slightly helped with odds. Either that or get a fireteam and nuke her on the hill, wipe and repeat 100 times until you get one. Or buy the vendor Hawksaw as its just about as good

4 AntwortenUnfortunately, you appear to have missed your window. Don't stress over something you may never get. You may have to do 100 runs just to get 1 to drop. Then even when it does drop, it's only a tiny chance of having that God roll. It just isn't worth it now. There are plenty of guns you can buy that are just as good and some others you can grind for, even easier. However, if you want to grind, good luck, but prepare for a wait. And even if you get a grasp, it may not make you any better. Put your time into just generally practicing.

3 AntwortenEasiest way would probably be to wait til the heroic strikes are solar burn so you can use celestial nighthawk, obviously the nightfall is best but that ship has sailed my friend, I'm sure there's a way to do it with arc burn and swords By the way I was farming in the nightfall and something very strange happened, I inspected someone on my friends list with a grasp of malok equipped that had counterbalance, braced frame and third eye and the next time I killed omnigul guess what gun I got? THE EXACT SAME ONE, I was like wow that was unreal, it's an awesome gun it's definitely a God roll my recent kds have probably gone up because of it, also by using it more you start to realize that people don't use primaries as their primaries a lot lol

6 AntwortenBest way to get it is farming omnigul in the room before the final room. Tether her using black hole and have one or two people with exotic swords and/or sleeper simulants. That's how I did it when omnigul was nightfall and I got two grasps & a billion bonds out of an hour or two of grinding. Honestly though? I don't think it's worth it. I've been experimenting with tons of different guns and honestly haakons hatchet and hung jury are the best primaries at the moment for both pve and pvp. Grasp is cool looking and dominates pretty much all pulse rifles, but it just doesn't pack the punch I had hoped for.

I think RNGesus is holding a grudge against me.[/quote] I'm in the same boat as you buddy butt I feel like you're better off waiting for the PDX 45 to arrive in the gunsmith Arsenal. You can get 3 different rolls each week if your high enough rank with him giving you the best chance at a "God roll" there's always a pretty solid roll if not one week the next week. A few months back I got a PDX 45 with perfect balance full auto and rifled barrel giving it more than half range and nearly maxed ability and of course the always wonderful full auto and if you don't know this is a clone of the infamous Hawk saw but you only have one option from The Crucible Quartermaster or u can hope to get one from a legendary engram but the PDX boost's your chances by a ton. 2 AntwortenWhat I find funny, is I knew nothing about it, just did my Weekly Heroics a month ago and it dropped. Still haven't used it though. Eye of storm, Glass Half-ful, and wasted perks for the middle, speed reload, Feather Mag or Mutiner. :(

I am in the same boat as you but with sublime engrams, but I have actually got to the point of giving up, the RNG on sublimes is just as bad as the RNG for the gun to drop and get a good roll, I would move on if I was you felt good, going to give ICO ago

Lol damn, Your probably better off waiting till it's back at the Nightfall again since the RNG increases the exclusive strike rewards, that's how alot of players got it few weeks back.
