The problem is to many people are focused on just kills. Assist helps to there could be some points if you didn't assist your teammate could of died, and vice versa you are wreaking someone then get blasted in the back before you can get the kill. I would not worry to much about your kd. Play for fun try different things thats how you can improve your game and your kd will start improving. But that being said this game has issues so you really cant get a true kd with lag hit detection problems walls shooting at you its hard. Keep on trucking experiment have fun and your kd will go up in time.
