I think bungie should implement title. What do you think? For example if someone leaves in the middle of a game they should be penalized for playing another match for like 10minutes. Only exception is if bungie has Maintaince or power disconnected.
Edit#1: this post is trending. Let's keep it up so Bungie will see it and perhaps even consider implementing this. In the military they have a saying, "Leave no man behind!" So don't be a homo and leave matches. Work together as a team!
Edit#2: Or if you leave matches you earn less exp for like an hour.

If they give bounties/quests that go against pvp game mode objectives. I will do my agenda and bail once my agenda is complete. Shouldn't be any penalties. Not a fan in general of destinys PvP games. In scenario 2, if they took out the bounties/quests for PvP out entirely and the only reason to play is to win that game mode, then this is different situation. You would be quitting because your losing, if anything. That scenario should carry a penalty. But we know that scenario 2 will never happen.

I tend to back out at the beginning of the match if I'm red bar (I'm not normally, but have had family at my house for the last month and they're always on the Internet, which puts a strain on my connection). I don't want to be punished for choosing to not ruin the other teams experience :/

Rewards are crap, there is no incentive to stay in a match with uncooperative people
-
We leave the game because idiot players we get teamed up with we leave the game because what I said when reward system is so crap we know we're not going to get anything if we stay anyway. This post was a waste of time

There's really no need for penalties. Playing in the crucible is a penalty in its own.

1 AntwortenI'll do as I please kiddo.

Bearbeitet von Hagalaz-27: 7/8/2016 10:56:06 AM
Work together as a team!
This only works if the rest of the fireteam is working as a team, and not as five individual CoDtards each running off and playing Clash, no matter what the game mode is. But yeah, there should be something. Although I'd rather see increased rewards for the poor SOB who gets shoved into the rage-quitter's spot with no heavy ammo and no super. And maybe a mandatory cinematic for the rage-quitter showing him what his replacement won for taking one for the team.

2 AntwortenNo that's idiotic. I've never left a match out of anger but I was playing last week and got kicked three times because of bungie. I got babooned all three times. Bungie is too stupid to be able to code it so that you wouldn't get a ban for getting kicked.

Bearbeitet von SirTainDemise: 7/8/2016 6:05:28 AMI played 2 heroics today that a player was lagging so bad that it was unbearable, I struggled through the first, but the second time I had to orbit. Should I be penalized for that?

I agree, but then they will just close application...

2 AntwortenRocket league does this. It's awesome and makes you think twice about raging. Bungie please stop catering to the casual and implement OP's recommendation.

Bearbeitet von sergantsnipes05: 7/8/2016 12:53:06 AMThus game doesn't even have a decent netcode or matchmaking to begin with. Maybe if they get a decent server Network with a netcode that feels like it isn't from 2003 (although halo 2 had a better netcode than this) and get rid of this awful skill based matchmaking until they have all the above Maybe then we can talk about leaving issues. As of right now it's nowhere near the top of the list

Leave one game... Can be understandable - emergencies etc. Leave 2 in a row, 1 hour ban.. Simple. Its easy for bungie to distinguish between Internet error and player instigated return to orbit.

5 AntwortenYesterday, I got spawned into a match where my team was 6k points behind and the other team picked up both heavies. In what world do I deserve to be punished for leaving that steaming pile of match making garbage?
-
Yes, but only if they consecutively leave matches. Sometimes I leave games to go help my Grandpa or parents for 5 minutes and then come back to play destiny again. I would understand this implementation for people who leave match after match after match, but there is an honest reason for the leave game button.
-
Put me in a losing game, I leave. Penalize me for this, I don't play your game.
-
They should do what black ops 2 did at least I think it was blops2, if left x amount you'd be unable to play for a few minutes but if you kept leaving the time would get bigger and bigger
-
I think it would be fair. Maybe if you join in past the half way mark in any game type, you wouldn't get the penalty. Ive seen games where if you leave pvp, you can't return for another 30m.. seems reasonable to me, thoughts?
-
2 AntwortenI think it'd be hard to program that, as things like error codes can kick you out of the game, which might result in a pentalization that wasn't deserved.
-
2 AntwortenI have said 15 minutes for EACH disconnect

ITT: people who've never played Halo before

1 AntwortenGlad Bungie is smarter than the people clamoring for something like this. I guess you haven't noticed the increased search times finding matches in crucible every week...care to venture a guess why that's happening? You're right though. A dwindling player base definitely needs something implemented that will cause even more people to just quit.

Yesterday I started a rift match 2 vs 5; although we tried to play it hoping that other people get added it was taking too long and I was being team shotted at every corner (not to mention that the ones joining quickly left)... Why get penalized for quitting in such circumstances?
