I have a 6 and 8 year old who play my account. My 8 year old hovers around a .5 KDR to maybe getting one kill. My 6 year old gets a kill about every 3 games. Hi favorite play style is the "punch people in the face game mode". So why does everyone look at KDR? Well because most of you don't have kids or if you do you don't let them play Destiny. You all should try it. Be a good dad or mom or uncle or aunt and let those kids impress you with how much fun Destiny is.
In the mean time... I don't want to group with you either if you discriminate against people who have a low KRD. No hard feelings. I just like grouping with people who are a bit more accepting and social.
Mad love Guardians!

1 AntwortenWhy not create an account for them? It would be easier to learn the basics and easier to play

when i babysit my niece i always give her an unconnected controller and say shes playing the game and let her feel like shes doing well (in PvE of course since its the only way i can guarantee i'll win 100% of fights) then when i need to shift her off for a meal or bed time i use operation broken TV so she loses interest and i can sort whatever she needs without her complaining she wants to play more, can't say how well this will work against your kids though since my niece is only 5

2 AntwortenPfft excuses mtashed taught his son to play and he got a triple down. Nah dw bro kd is overrated
-
6 AntwortenMy kd goes down every time I'm afk, because I'm busy with dad duty. "Hey man, want to run crucible?" "Sure my kid is napping." Capture zone C, baby wakes up.

Good job! Im lucky enough to have 3 xboxs and i had my first trials game with my 9 & 5 year old boys, it was stressful but we all had a great time together

4 AntwortenYou're on xbox so i don't know if you know this but you can create separate accounts for your children for free. And if you're worried about having to re-buy stuff, you don't have to. As long as the account you bought everything on( including dlc and digital games) is the one set to home console, everybody else on that console has access to everything you do, including gold.
-
4 AntwortenThat's your reason specifically, but it is meaningless to the people who solely use KDR to determine the value of someone's opinion.

Id say youve lost at the game destiny but won in the game of life

All the hardcore players are the ones you should avoid in this game. I have decent K/D on my characters (highest on my Warlock) and could care less if it was bad. The only playlist I've played where I'm always positive and overall top scoring player is 6v6 gametypes. FFA and 3v3 matches is where I go negative or even in K/D because the players are forced to hang back and take their time with taking us out. They only play those gametypes because their K/D needs to be a 12.0 so that they can show that they're "good" at one gametype. I had a friend who does trials carries (stupid if you ask me) and plays only 3v3 gametypes. Brought him on Iron Banner with our group and went negative every game. He complained about everything (rushers, spawn flips, too fast of gameplay, etc.) and ended up quitting entirely from our team to go back to 3v3 to get his K/D back to where it was. Pathetic if you ask me. I could go against ANYONE in 6v6 gametypes and destroy a kid who plays only 3v3 gametypes. Even in Rumble matches I can struggle for the win because so many of these "guardians" can't handle that type of playstyle.

My kids do better at it than me😀

Nice! :) My wife and son regularly play on my account. I'm 35. A kill to death ratio on a video game means absolutely nothing to me. I couldn't give two shits if it was 0.34 or 3.40.

Bearbeitet von ScotchEggsRules: 7/6/2016 9:08:46 AMMy 5 month old hasn't gotten the hang of tactile hand function yet. Unless it involves stuffing her hand in her mouth AND whatever she's holding onto, at the time lol

1 AntwortenIt's obligatory for someone to tell you you're opinion is invalid because of you're KDR on destiny forums
-
That's cool and all, but if your 6 year old just punches things yet only gets 1 kill every 3 games, he isn't punching right. So I suggest teaching him the power of peregrine greaves

My son runs the warlock on my account. He is 7.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Hiro: 7/6/2016 4:23:25 AMWhy put them in the crucible in the first place? A 6 year old would probably enjoy the game more punching aliens in the face anyways.

Have you tried shoulder charging your teammates when they camp? Did that couple nights ago and got hate mail lol. I was standing in front of his scope haha

Personally find that Battlefield 4's training map is a far better place for my 6 year old. Plenty of variety and only shooting targets.

My daughter gets the xbox controller that isn't turned on while i play.. She's only 14 month.

I have a 2 year old that sits with me and plays, don't stop me from having a 2.3/2.4 kdr...
