I have a 6 and 8 year old who play my account. My 8 year old hovers around a .5 KDR to maybe getting one kill. My 6 year old gets a kill about every 3 games. Hi favorite play style is the "punch people in the face game mode". So why does everyone look at KDR? Well because most of you don't have kids or if you do you don't let them play Destiny. You all should try it. Be a good dad or mom or uncle or aunt and let those kids impress you with how much fun Destiny is.
In the mean time... I don't want to group with you either if you discriminate against people who have a low KRD. No hard feelings. I just like grouping with people who are a bit more accepting and social.

1 AntwortenYou're a good dad because you let your child play with you? Hah
-
That's awesome 😀
-
I have a separate ps account for my 10 year old that he plays on, and I still have a shitty kdr.
-
9 AntwortenYour 8 year-old hovers around a 5 KDR???

14 AntwortenLetting your kids play games doesnt mean you're a good father. Just because you let them play on your account woohoo. A good father is someone who is always there for their kids. Take them to their games, get them things yhey need and want. What you're doing is good and fun but doesn't classify you as a good father.

I'd run trials with you mate! One of my good friends little fella plays crucible on his account more than he does, and at 5 he's pretty impressive! Don't let any negative comments get to you, the best achievement a lot of these kids have in life is there kdr.

2 Antworten
So why does everyone look at KDR?
Only spotty virgins care about K/D

1 AntwortenKD means nothing. It just a number for people on a forum to cry over.
-
Couldn't he have his own account or character?
-
My 3 year old isn't allowed in pvp. Only patrols.
-
2 AntwortenEveryone is now dumber after reading that.
-
My 4 yr old just jumps off cliffs sometimes haha.

1 AntwortenSounds like a win win to some people. You let your kids have fun for a few hours and then because of the SBMM you get matched to opponents of thier skill level and can win easily.
-
I just wish my daughters would show an interest then I could blame them one day
-
It's funny because your KDR is almost as good as mine and I actually try. Says a lot about me. I just play for fun, anyway.
-
They are a ton of fun. My 3yr old daughter loves some purple space magic and spamming that trigger. She is fond of the Multitool and Defender Titans. We don't have warlocks in my house anymore.
-
As long as they don't use mics, they're fine. I guess.
-
Dude I'm a mediocre dad at best and my kdr sucks choleric elephant ass

4 AntwortenMaybe Bungie can go to a K/D that is based on the average of the last 35 games??? And separate it out by event type (In my experience it can be easier to have a higher K/D from Elimination/Salvage type events then it is Clash/Control type events anyway... if you are fairly skilled) Yah...I destroyed my K/d letting my teenage girl play on my account...lol. It was so low that successive >2.0 K/Ds don't even nudge it a 10th of a point...LMAO! She liked the game so much that we ended up wanting to team up as a fire team (usually a couple hours on the weekend). It's been great bonding too! Lol! ...and for all those who judge ..yes, we do lots of activities together as a family ..sports, vacations, homework, etc. ...but in order to do a fire team we ended up having to purchase another Xbox one and gold subscription to make it work in for her to have a "separate" account since split screen multiplayer coop isn't an option with Destiny like it was with Halo. And it's been LOTS of FUN! We do Crucible together now and she often takes 1st place and I take second in Clash, Control, and IB...lol! In reading some of the posts below It's a real shame that some people are ridiculously mean spirited and so self righteous...I also see a tremendous amount of "whining".... Ignore them / mute them ...they aren't worth the time or energy. Their desperate posts are just cries for attention and probably a result of personal unhappiness. Look my gamer tag up and send an invite if you want to join up for fire team event! Always on the look out for easy going normal people to game with. HRH FURY

I have sons that play destiny, these profile stats are mine and my 12year olds he plays more than I do coz I work alot. My 15yr old has his own and he carries people through trials, I was shocked when I saw he had all the trials emblems but then again kids have better reflexes.

My son uses my third character slot. You're a good dad.

I like Ike

Not sure if OP's post is more about KD or more about being a good dad and having fun with his kids, but assume it's more about the later. For me, the single most rewarding aspect of the game has been playing with my 2 boys (ages 14 and 8) since the beginning. We now have 3 Xbox Ones in the house which generally makes it easier to have a fire team for some activities and has made our home quite the social place for my kids' friends to gather. Leveling up our characters together through missions and strikes, getting our first legendaries, exotics, our first G-horns back in Y1, map glitching and just exploring - good times. Watching my oldest son take the lead on Raids and Sherpa raid groups has reinforced in my mind that he'll be a great leader one day. Listening to my younger son yell "360 no scope" and "take that scrub" while shooting at everything and not actually hitting much of anything in Crucible has just been hilarious. I highly recommend making it a family event if possible. For me, it's been a complete blast! My wife doesn't fully get it, but sees me and the boys bonding and having fun together, so doesn't mind so much...

Ya KDR shouldn't really matter. It needs a change. I've been on since day one destiny and that really screws up your KD when you are facing pocket infinity Suros Regime vex Mythoclast pre nerf. I'm sitting at a .80 KDR because of year on destiny. Now in year two probably 1 in 30 games I go anywhere near that KDR. It's really ridiculous that I am so low still I wish they would reset crucible stats in the September update because their was ridiculously overpowered guns in the game year one.

I'm not a dad...
I'm just bad at crucible xD
