Anyone with lots of subscribers and views is a target for hackers.

It's just some kid who got a hold of information regarding the accounts of many major Youtubers, and is now using it to sign into their accounts and change things, proclaiming himself as a hacker. I guarantee, Poodle Corp didn't hack anyone, but rather he just got their account info from someone else who did. And now, he's just doing this for attention.
