Iron Banner Needs a No Fireteam Edition
Two versions, one that allows fireteams and another that does not.
Let us casual players, the solo players just have some fun without getting into lobbies against teams who clearly play together all the time and have the advantage.
Edit. Well we seem to have a healthy discussion going for the most part.
I can agree on both sides of this argument that SBMM is not working, regardless of what side of the fence you're on, CBMM would benefit everyone.
Edit 2: For those of you who are separate Playlist for solo players may cause connection issues aka finding a match, look at the responses. A lot of solo players it seems, leave the match if they see fireteams. This not only lengthens the time for a match to start it may also be the cause of people leaving during a match. It might actually speed things up.

There does not need to be two versions. Just play the game. Iron Banner is the best thing about the game right now, even with the lag switch a$$hats whose tiny members can't handle a loss. It shows the lack of emotional stability and how fragile people are to have to cheat to win. How big of a total loser do you have to be to lag?

How about Iron Banner with bots? Would be smoother than playing against someone on a different continent. I find no satisfaction knowing I'm shooting at a character controlled by a live person. I think anyone who does is sick and needs help.

I just turn into a campy bitch when I go against a team. Usually lose, but at least I try to be a pain for them.

My uncle and I were in a fireteam and somehow managed to get into a game that was already going. We were chatting on Skype, doing our strategy thing, and he said he had his Super. Next thing I knew I was being fried by my uncle who, somehow, was on the OTHER TEAM. I was so flabbergasted and he refused to believe that it had happened. I was like 'Pull up the roster and look! AND YOU JUST KILLED ME!' Needless to say, it was both awful and hilarious. And I never got to kill him once.

I dunno. Personally, I played both solo and with a team of my clanmates. I had to go both ways in order to make it through, because when I played solo, I'd be in the top 2 each round, able to get kills, and to finish my bounties. My win/loss ratio was underwhelming, though. On the other hand, when running with a group, we'd win almost every time, but my K/D would be tanked and progress on the bounties would be slow. This probably has a lot to do with my clanmates and I having fun messing with each other by stealing kills, and admittedly that the SBMM was probably matching us with better players while I was grouped up, but still. In my case, being able to do both directly led to me hitting rank 5 on both my 40's.

Never have I ever had any problem reaching rank 5 on all characters when playing solo, and I'm no mlg. The only thing being Ina fireteam helps with is prevent you from being put into ongoing matches most the time.

Step on go to forums and ask for people to do iron banner, or get friends. Step 2 allocate recourses. Step 3 get gud.

1 AntwortenNo. No. No. They already ruined the playlist with freelance 6v6 (People still go to Control/Clash solo when freelance is on) when it should be inferno 6v6 or Mayhem clash rotating. Make friends or don't play Iron banner. [b]TEAM BASED[/b] mode. What's the next post - add matchmaking to trials? Good lord.

have you looked or posted for a fireteam? the game is a not a single player game and should not be changed because you or your friends don't play at the same time. it would fracture an already dwindling community by separating the player base further. That is not in everyones best interest if this game is to continue.

If you have access to these forums, you have access to recruitment. Join a team. The game is alot easier and alot more fun if you do this.

I got thrown into an Iron Banner match 1 vs 6 on Shores of Time. My Titan planted his flag like a lonely emo and I waved the team hoping they would wait for more people to drop in. No response... I saw one on my radar and hoped they would send in one in at a time. Wishful thinking but I was game if that was gonna be the case. Then another blip, and another. They were storming my ass from all sides like a pack of starving hyenas. *Xenobis has left the game* Nice try SBMM. Nice try my nemesis...
