STUPID NEXT GEN JERKS
Ever since DeeJ posted the weekly update saying they're taking events away from last gen, any time any of us last gen players says somethin about it, we get crap from these idiotic next gen players! HEY GUYS! GUESS WHAT?! SOME PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD TO JUST GO BUY A BRAND SPANKIN NEW CONSOLE! SOME OF US CAN'T EVEN GET JOBS YET! I'm 15 and i can't get a job, so when these next gen brats come in and say get off your a** and get a job, it sets me off. PLEASE STOP WITH THIS CRAP! It's only been a fee hours and im already sick and tired of it.

7 AntwortenWhen I was 15 I was working 4-6 days a week after school and some weekends. Made about $200-300 a week working in the back of a bakery. Mind you, this was 20 years ago. Stop being lazy and entitled. The real world will come knocking sooner than you think. You want something? Go out and earn it.

Many people work at your age. It's not hard to find a part time while at school. Also it's summer so there is no way you couldn't find something to do to make enough for one.

Sorry but you need to just get on with life and move on. I'm an old gen player, perhaps could afford a new gen console but I have better things to spend my money on right now. So we are losing IB and ToO. I'm a bit gutted but at least we still have access to most content, unlike when TTK released and you essentially upgraded or had to play such a cut-down version of the game that it was rendered useless. Less and less people with be playing old gen as time goes on - eventually you'd be waiting ages just to find a Match for the game. Accept what you have no control over, concentrate only on what you can change - makes life more pleasant all round

1 AntwortenI know you've heard it 100 or so times now, but it's July now. Get up at 8am, take the lawn mower, and go cut grass for a day. 8am-6pm. Ask for $10-15 a lawn (small) and $20-25 for a big lawn (an acre at most) and DON'T be sloppy. Eat dinner, and from 7p until dusk wash a couple cars for $20 ea. If you average 40 minutes a lawn, at an average of $20 an hour, you just made yourself $200 in a day from lawn mowing, and an extra $60-80 from car washing. That's enough for an Xbox One, without tax. Spend half a day washing cars the next day, and you can get the game and enough money to get Rise of Iron, just save the money until it gets closer to launch. If you want a PS4, it'll take you a full 2 days, 8am-9pm to get a new ps4 and Destiny with money left over for rise of iron. And to tell you the truth, when ps4 and X1 launched back in 2013, both Sony and Microsoft said that last gen consoles would start losing support after 3 years. We're 32 months in since launch, and we've already started to see reduced support for last gen (A big one being Black Ops 3's campaign mode) and it's just going to get worse. This will also show your parents you're willing to work for what you want, and will probably be inclined to buy you a couple games for birthday and Christmas gifts. Good luck mate.

Doesn't matter what state you're in, federal law in all 50 states requires you to be at least 14 years old and have a work permit. If you want something you'll find a way to earn it. Find a job, save your money, and earn your keep. Be thankful you're 15 and you can easily save earnings from your job since you don't have to pay for a mortgage, provide for a family, pay for utilities and other bills. I work hard for what I want and you can too. You'll find out that when you spend your hard earned money on something you want you'll take better care of it and make it last longer. Current gen systems have been out 3 years. There are plenty of ways for a 15 year old to make money instead of complaining about how unfair things are. When you grow up a little bit, you'll realize life certainly isn't fair and you're not going to receive handouts for most anything you truly want. Work hard, save up and start earning the things you want. Best of luck.

13 AntwortenAn Xbox one costs 280, you can trade in your Xbox 360 for 45 dollars, so now it's 235 dollars, minimum wage is 8 dollars, if you work a minimum wage job for two hours every day for 2 weeks you got yourself an Xbox one. If you bought the game/dlcs digitally then it all transfers over. So no it's not really that hard and we're not pricks. We just know that you can work a bit instead of complaining and hoping for handouts...
