Crucible is such a miserable expirence
I'll be short.
1. I'm bad at Crucible, but that's not to say that I'm bad at all Competitive Multiplayer games (see links)

2. I've played 13-15 games of IB this week, and won 2. Nearly all lost by less than 1000 points. It's terrible.
3. Passive play styles are very rewarding in Destiny, which isn't always bad in a game, but 6v6 is a small game. Campy matches, with low player populations quickly become a miserable grind. When everyone is staying at opposite sides of the map peeking through a hole, or trying to get an angle on you where they can shoot your foot a few times... that's annoying. I've had multiple IB clash matches almost run to the time limit, with both teams almost hitting the score limit. I've even adopted this playstyle just to get some kills. Sadly... it's been working very well lately.
I really don't enjoy crucible, and often avoid it as much as possible. It's miserable, inconsistent, P2P connections are horrid, constant sweat fest, .... i could go on
It flat out sucks, easily the most annoying and frustrating PvP i've ever played. There are only 2 modes i ever enjoyed.
Combined Arms.
This was actually an interesting mode, too bad it's gone. In yr 1, this was the only week i would play regularly.
Iron Banner.
Sucks, but the loot is the only reason I play this mode, and it's only recently gotten to be worth the headache again.

I don't agree on the whole, I enjoy crucible mostly. However, you are absolutely right about this IB sucking because treats refuse to leave their zones. Makes for very slow and boring matches. If this is how people are going to play IB give me control or rift so they people have to move around the map.

I'm also very good at other games I play alot of gears of war have done since it started and that game is brilliant to play compared to this and I also did play alot of unreal tournament. For me I play the pvp at the moment just for the rewards to get my light lvl up I don't play it to be competitive because I know it's complete rubbish.

2 AntwortenComing back to Destiny after skipping the last Iron Banner, and yup, Crucible is just as bad as I remember it. Many bad design decisions. No dedicated servers. Crucible needs a big reboot with Destiny 2, so much so that I think Bungie should re-name it's competitive multi-player.

I have a good internet connection around 30 to 40 Mbps, sometimes I'm in the red at that time I will check my connection and it's at 20 to 30 Mbps. I have little to no knowledge how the system works. I am playing on a PS4.

You need to play passive aggressive! Know when to run in and when to back off. Been working my way up for a .5KD ratio. Getting close to 1.0. :) Been having a blast! Most of it though is playing more aggressive though! Also found my game play favors Fusions over shotguns!

I honestly like crucible. I suck, but I just have fun playing against people. Especially when they're good. Cuz I like it when they just do something so amazing, and I'm like 😱 today, I got quick-scoped and I was super impressed! I guess I honestly just have a positive attitude towards a lot of things. Idk

haha I had a good laugh, loosing by 1000 points yeah don't care, you should of played iron banner yesturday, for me it was full of Trials of Osiris teams winning by 5000+ points and unable to move anywhere close to the team to score any points you'll see how hard it can be

Shit maps, shit game mode, getting put in with and up against try hard parties. How about a mercenary playlist Bungie?! Everyone seems to be running Titan these days, guess that's the overpowered class now. Lag. Snipers everywhere. I'll get my hunter to rank 5 to get the scout rifle then sack it off for another 5 months.

It's only bad when there is noticeable lag. Outside of that, it's business as usual. A ton of Midas and Shotties.

Just quit and play Fo4 like I do. Mods have given Fo4 an unlimited amount of replay value. I have not touched Destiny since Fo4 mods were released on Xbone. I just swung by to see what IB was this week and how it was going, I see it's exactly the same.

Played for a few hours yesterday, most of our matches never started with more than 4 per team, the ones that did we were up against a team of 5 or 6 and my buddy and I would get placed with 2 randoms. Lots of teleporting red bars. The matchmaking is pure garbage. It seems server population is pretty low also. I wonder if these idiots are watching those statistics so they can unf[b]uc[/b]k themselves.

The game doesnt appear to be in a good state, as usual. IB will always a lagger haven, doesnt matter if its in D2 or D3, it will still be the same experience.

It really is just so awful and I hate myself for giving it chance after chance only to get burned every time. Do something, Bungie. It had so much potential and you ran it completely into the ground.

Agree. That's the biggest inconvenience when Bungo makes IB clash. They cater to the lone wolf PvP sweaty balls players because they don't need a team to win or be the best around or organized fire teams that camp a choke point and just wait for the meat carnage feast to begin. I've lucky to get put on teams with such sweaty balls. No complaint here but I've been in the other side too and it's not fun so I work on bounties. Collect the medallion and wait for the next game. It's an inevitable grind anyways.
